Under Warnock we always seemed to be able to score in the last bit of a match.
No doubt there are a few budding Stattos out there who can provide the figures, but it seems that lately we can't do what we used to - turn a draw into victory, and rescue a point from an almost nailed-on defeat.

This might be one of the reasons I broke the habit of a lifetime and left early yesterday. So early that I was turning onto Woodseats Road as the final whistle blew.
I can't see us managing to get a result in the last bit of the game. The players seem to let their heads droop when they are behind, rather than fight to the end like the Warnock sides of old.

Let's see what the next few games bring.

I agree. We do seem to have lost that fighting back spirit that we had under Warnock.

There seemed to be more of an (attempted) effort as the 4th held up four minutes... but by no means enough.

I think 2002/2003 is probably one of the best seasons for the last minute goals, and I know exactly what you're talking about!

Never mind the last ten minutes though - where's the fight for the other eighty?
