I was thinking about being a blade what you gain what you lose emotionally more than financially I actually understand the poster who said He felt like now might be a good time to stop because there are times i've felt like that as well. I was one who felt going up in our first season back was potentially a bad idea but now our team, although still probably short, feels better equipped, I make no apologies for the way I feel and it doesn't depend on my general feelings at the time. When I have suffered from depression. united regardless of where they are have always been an outlet for my feelings. A defeat feels terrible however I am feeling. One thing that feels unique to united (I'm sure its not) is their habit of doing things at the last possible moment. How many promotions and relegations have been decided on the last day. Sometimes clearly its losing playoff finals but often its the last match. I was there when we played Walsall, Wigan, Chelsea away. Promotions often seem to have happened a match early, apart from Leicester of course. So my point is if we do get relegated is it better psychologically for it to happen earlier so you can get used to the idea and not be heartbroken. Huddersfield fans for example had a party towards the end of the season because they knew they were down. On balance given the chance I would snatch your hand off for the chance to stay up by winning the last game of the season. I will take the heartbreak if I have to' sometimes being a blade is about rolling with the punches, but please United just this once can you be safe nice and early.
