He's contributed to more goals this season than any other player. Obviously ched's got the most goals, but Quinn has had a pass leading up to a goal in nearly 1/3 of the goals we've had, he's way out in front of anyone lese in that respect.

If he consistently performed at the level he shows in flashes he'd be a Premiership player. As it is, it's the inconsistency in his game that's left him playing at Championship/League One level.

I find Quinn frustrating at times because I know how good he can be and it's disappointing when he doesn't reach that level.

Whilst I've gone for McDonald and he has no votes as THE key man, I think a mention for young Harry is not out of order.
Played far more games than someone of his experience would normally be expected to and has aquitted himself very well indeed. Let's not forget, this time last season he was playing for the juniors!

Interesting thread. Dint vote mi sen. Couldn't choose between Ched, Collins and McDonald. Ched is possibly replacable with Hoskins, provided the others stay fit. But he really is like the 3rd divisions Roberto Baggio at the moment. Defenders just cannot play him. It all fell to bits when Collins was out of the team and he has been rock solid this year. We could possibly cope without him (like at Brentford) but I don't want to find out. Every goal over that period (Oldham, Walsall, Colchester etc) I remember looking at and thinking 'that would not have happened with Collins in the team (mainly because Hill was at fault for most of them!?). K Mac makes the team tick and we just don't control games without him. It gave the team a massive boost when he retured. He moves the ball quickly, always is an option, almost always finds a red and white shirt and dictates the play. We can't really do without him.

K Mac probably shaves it for me, but to be honest I think we simply cannot afford to lose any of the 3 I mentioned. Simple as that. Keep them all fit and in the team and we will get 2nd spot (imo).

I think the MacDonald thing is largely overplayed. He's contributed to about 12 of our goals this season, quinn has contributed way more. We went to pieces at the back when Collins went out.
