Good to hear. But, surely the club should look after the home fans first(i.e on Kop facilities) rather than away fans.

Well as they hope to be using the upper tier for Blades fans as often as possible, they are improving provisions for home fans as well as improving the image of the club for when away fans come to visit.

There's not much they can do about the Kop at the moment because the whole stand needs to be changed before alcohol can be served because of the layout of it.

If you want cheap tickets but no beer, go on the Kop. If you go for the facilities you have to be willing to pay a bit more in the side stands.

totally agree the away stand needs improving so we send out the right message to visiting fans that we are a club in the premiership and the ground fits :D

Fair enough. But the facilities on the kop haven't even been touched the slightest for as long as i can remember.

10,000+ people to cater for over the 3000ish in the upper tier is surely more important in setting an impression.

But the Kop was built on the cheap with long-term plans to knock it down and start again. Anything they did to improve the facilities would be a half-hearted temporary bodge job in light of wanting to build a whole new stand.

Anyway... didn't they put a roof on the toilets a few years back? :D what more do you want?

Not only that, they also moved one of the pie stands into the old bogs and the old bogs into the former pie stand for the women and the mens are in the back of the Streetwise corner. I still get confused and cue up for a turd then get served one instead as I think the staff have forgot they moved too :D
