The Gaffer is NOT happy!

He isn’t far wrong too many poor decisions, too many individual performances and barely put a glove on Leicester.

I think he is getting fucked off with the contract situation with some. Just going to assume that’s Lunny.

So who's the players asking about a new contract or wanting days off?🤔

I can see why he is annoyed and I was as well the performance was well below par. But I honestly think some of them comments are out of order. I dont think he should be saying the players are league 1 quality and saying that people are only bothered when they want to see him about contracts. That's a load of bollocks yeah this game looked like we couldn't be bothered and couldn't get out of second gear but for 80 percent of the season they have worked there socks off and that's why we are where we are. Not sugar coating it as wilder said a below par performance but dont think we should be putting the dressing room down like that goes either one of 2 ways from here now either he gets a reaction or the dressing room could be lost. Ok maybe a bit of a over reaction as I dont think he would loose the dressing room as such but think he has over stepped the mark there.

Inexplicably poor tonight + you could tell from the kick-off. Just gave the ball away time after time. Looked disinterested + I can't think why. Enda had a terrible first half but stayed on. Osborn was the only one playing in the first half but got hooked. Bizarre subs. Basham off ? Crazy. I reckon CW was as angry as me at HT + let his anger get the better of him. Berge never involved + Lunny no better. Terrible all round. I can accept that Leicester are a higher quality team but I can't understand why we put in such a lacklustre performance

Sounds similar to what he said after the reverse fixture.

Potentially a bit naive of Wilder I thought.
Expecting a different result from the reverse fixture but playing the same exact way.

What a manager. Says it like it is, takes no prisoners and calls everything out.

Tonight was really poor. Personally, I almost felt ok with it, in the sense of we are bound to lose some games and inevitably going to do so after performing badly and not putting the effort in. But, that's what differentiates me from Chris Wilder, he is the manager and I can understand from his point of view that he will be fuming with that.

He doesn’t like losing. Simple as.
Neither do us, the fans.

Their team put a shift in. Ours didn’t. What is the reason?

One of two for me.

(a) they are knackered. If so need to ring a few changes for the next game.

(b) they didn’t perform because they think that they’ve done enough for this season. If so the players need to put that right in the next two games. Or else incure Wilders wrath whatever that might entail.

I think like many of us he is a fan, feels gutted & is letting his emotions flow.

A lot different to what he said after the reverse fixture. His point then was that he wasn't going to applaud his players for effort, he wanted to see premier league quality and that mental bravery to play with confidence.

Tonight we got owned and he's clearly totally pissed off about it. Leicester wanted it more and that isn't like us at all

Says it how it is. I agree to a certain extent that you are running a risk but our gaffer speaks from the heart and if any of the players don’t like what he says then knock on his door but they’d soon be walking back out again.

We need to keep to the standards that we’ve set ourselves and as soon as that slips it’s up to wilder to get them bang at it again. Ultimately its the only way that we keep improving. We can’t allow complacent performances like that tonight.

Pat the players on the head and say never mind cus you were great like week will only see standards slip and with that we will find ourselves dropping down the league.

Top marks to wilder tonight for those comments

I saw a gulf in quality, not effort.

Questioning their effort is unfair imo.
