Sat surfing pointless BBC articles at the end of the working week when I came across this terrifying read, The name Fabian Brandy gave me nightmares of when he stood alongside McMahon modeling kits designed by drunk Norwich fans and presented by a 12 year old using Microsoft paint whilst gracing League 1. Halfway through the article, it got worse, John Cofie gets a mention.

If you are going to launch a scouting app wouldn't you try use success stories like Kante or Mahrez, I'd be scared my phone would be infected if I downloaded this app!

The app is to connect players who’ve been released and can’t find a pro club. Why would Kante or Mahrez be relevant?
Fair play to them, couple of useless fuckers on the pitch but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to be successful in something else.

I would imagine creating an app for a topic, in this case scouting you might want to highlight the importance and potential value of said topic: Successful Scouting can bring both onfield and off-field success, see what Leicester achieved with Kante & Mahrez, my app makes that easier...

I was being a bit tongue in cheek to bring up an article about 2 former blades, I don't want them to fail per say just always interesting to see what they went on to do after us.

It’s an app for players and managers. If they don’t understand what the benefits of scouting are they’re probably in the wrong job. Or they’re Kevin Blackwell.

Lets be fair, with the throw enough mud some of it will stick approach to transfers over many years by many clubs including ourselves, I believe the understanding of GOOD scouting may well be alot less common place than one would want to believe.

Blackwell would tell you he used scouts but I think the scouting process of numerous managers would look like a different role/word altogether to that of somewhere like Leicester, Man City, Tottenham and now I dare say Wilder's United!

Although the key here may be as you say, "they're probably in the wrong job" but keep getting offered them
