Barnsley vs Wolves
Birmingham vs Derby
Cardiff vs Sunderland
Bristol City vs Norwich
Ipswich vs Leeds
Boro vs Fulham
Millwall vs Preston
Forest vs Villa
Brentford vs Bolton

So, Wolves will likely win today and increase their lead further. As much as I hate them, they are gone so no need to worry about them. Derby, Brizzle, Cardiff you would imagine to pick up wins today, with very favourable fixtures. Although Birmingham on a recent resurgence may be a banana skin and Cardiff are in bad form. I’d imagine Ipswich vs Leeds to be a draw as they will miss Saiz. Boro to beat Fulham, Preston vs Millwall to be a draw and the same for Brentford vs Bolton.

In terms of the table, Derby, Cardiff, Brizzle wins would see them 9, 7,7 points above us respectively. With our run of games coming up you’d think our chances of catching them would be slim. A Leeds win would take them above us by three and again, with our fixtures we may struggle to catch them- although obviously it is entirely feasible. Boro and Villa have difficult but very winnable games so they could motor, both be above us with wins. Preston would draw level with us with victory, and they have a favourable run coming up so if they win today you could expect them to go above us within a couple of weeks.

Ultimately, what I’m saying is getting into these playoffs will be tough work. If Derby win today I don’t think we can catch them, if Brizzle win we will struggle too. Regarding Cardiff, I don’t think they are any good so they are catchable. Due to the teams around us, and the relatively easy games coming up weare battling for 6th. We need some teams to step up and do us some favours today.

Agreed unfortunately. I really don't see us finishing in the playoff spots as teams have found a way to stop us playing. It's not pretty football but it's worked for a few teams over the last few weeks!!!. Wilder doesn't seem to have an answer at the moment but hopefully his new signings will help us push on!. In wilder we trust. UTB

Definitely trust in Wilder, it’s because of him that we are in this position. Under any other manager we might be midtable league one !

Not so sure about Bristol today, put a lot into their game at City midweek. Potential for a bit of a stutter there.

7 points is nothing this stage of the season

Did think this myself, but they are at home against Norwich who are poor atm and have just lost Pritchard.

depends if we win.. there are a bunch of 6 pointers are there not?
100%. I’m not saying that it will be, but without blade tinted specs on, even the biggest optimist would admit that we are likely to be off the pace after these games. I’d imagine that we would go on a run after them though.

you expect us to lose?? interestingly we do better against the villas and the Leeds because they will come out so paradoxically they might be easier

Our run of fixtures is brilliant, some good teams coming to the Lane and some tough away games.

Wish we had a run of fixtures that included Birmingham, Bolton and Wednesday at home though... Easy 9 points.

Didn’t say lose, but draws count for little in this league. For the record I think we will
Draw vs Norwich ( Though I could easily be wrong) Draw vs Villa, lose vs Wolves and beat Leeds.

I really don't see us challenging for the play-offs as things stand. We'll see what the new signings brings, but feels unlikely to me.
