It’s a yes from me. No problem in saying it and very impressed. Contrast the majority of home games though? Why can’t we be like that on 23 occasions a year? It’s hardly a massive task!

No problem with a slow build-up of support as we improve our position in the league (and prove to be real challengers) but having got to where we are, with 5 or 6 games to go, it's a bit difficult to understand why getting a full-throated roaring crowd is (was?) so difficult.

As a critic of the fans’ vocal support in recent games, I’ve already said in the matchday thread that they were really good throughout. It’s the sort of support that a team that’s been top 3 all season shouldn’t really have to keep asking to be produced – it should be a given.

What did you expect from The Infiltraters. The clown who said Forest were loud, needs checking for Tinnitus.

Forest did amuse me with their "how shit must you be, you've only scored one" chant

It's very difficult to get the vocal support from the Kip. We have our agendas and so to speak. But don't give it large that we aren't singing. It's all about joining in and is only twenty sing that's not our fault. Get into the mood,, join in and sing loud for the cause. Everyone has a point to make. We're all in this together. COYRAWW.

I thought that they were 4/10. I always think it's ironic when 25 aways fans sing 'is this a library?' whilst their other 2,4750 hardcore support produce no noise. I'd describe their support as dog shit but then I loath the arrogant ****s only behind one other team so I could be biased.

Nailed it for me.

It was as good as it can be. I think it could be better with the backing, but people need to realise that times have changed. I used to go to the Lane with my mates and stand on the Kop, a proper terrace, and it was rough, tough and ready. Now we've all got older, and the younger generation have only known being sat down in a sterilized stand with family members around them and it being 'nice' rather than 'nasty' since the 90's. Its a change for the better I suppose, but times and people change.

It was pretty good at the Lane today all things considered. The 'raucous intimidating' days at the Lane are long gone. The old Kops gone, the John Street West terrace has gone (replaced by the Kids stand) and H Block has been shut down on and off for a while. So all things reconsidered, i still think we are a pretty good bunch with the backing on our day at the Lane

Stop wishing for something that we simply aren't anymore.
