Will happen at 13:35 tomorrow, with Sheffield United being ball number 38.

Here's hoping for a new ground to get in :D

Not totally bothered about it and the league remains our priority, not only that but entering the competition at this stage is also brings around some very unattractive fixtures. That said regardless of the league being our sole aim I do still have a soft spot for the FA Cup, it's still the UK's number 1 cup competition and I like to respect it's history even though none of the big guns tend to these days, and whether a believer or not some do say that a good cup run can build momentum and give you something to take into the league however whether this team is good enough to even get to the third round never mind beyond it who knows.

Bring on an away day at a really lowly club any. I want a day out at a ground I haven't been to, somewhere really non league and different.

The draw is on ITV at 1:45pm

Am I suffering from 'massive' syndrome? I still think it weird that our first round entry is not the first week of January. :(

Colchester... Great I live there but have a gig to do in Southend that night.
ARSE!

FFS! I have to say I very rarely need a push to follow United away. I'm an avid away follower and love my days on the road watching United but I have to say I absolutely hate Colchester United away! It has to be one of the poorest away days in England for travelling fans.

Anyone whos been to the Weston Homes stadium knows what I am on about. The only thing going for the place is that it is on decent links to quickly get away from the place what with it being directly next to the A-road but even then it's a long, boring, pain in the arse journey home!

As for the location, little thought must have gone into that and travelling fans don't get the chance to invest cash into the local economy as theres really sod all there. Based outside of Colchester in the middle of nowhere surrounded by mainly fields, there is sod all to do and no selection of watering holes meaning you have to drink out of town and then ride in for the match if you want to make a day out of it.

Will need a kick up the backside to go to this twice in a season!, Not a bad ground in all fairness but poorly located and thats all it has going for it! Not looking forward to going in January never mind in a couple of weeks.

As for us being on TV. In the spirit of the FA Cup and football in general I hope we don't get chosen to be on TV. This should be solely for the non league teams who have battled their socks off to get to the first round proper. The deserve it more than us and need the cash injection far more than us. The money from TV rights can run these clubs for a season so well done to those teams.

I had three preferences. It only had to be one of them for me to go...

Somewhere I haven't been
Somewhere quite close
A decent day out

This is a no on all counts. If I could have hand-picked 5 away draws that I didn't want, this would have been one of them.

Although i've been to Colchester before to watch The Blades, this one's quite local for me so i'll probably consider this one. Mind you, Welling United v Luton Town could be a good cup tie and is about 10 minutes from where I live so this might get the nod instead.

Pretty much the best draw for me, just an hour on the train and I'm there, cracking :)

If somebody had said what is the worst draw possible i would've said Colchester away.

Why can' we draw a non-league club ever. I mean who the fuck are Briggeswade Town & Needham Market?

The media would love that - a bigger club bullying a plucky non league team as we thrash struggle to a 1-0 win with the goal deep in injury time.

Needham Market is also out my way, their game against Cambridge is essentially a derby

Classic Hand Tools used to have their shop in Needham Market. I've been there and it was nice. :)
