Not really aimed at him. Our current pitch has 4 times the drainage the old pitch would have held. It is days like today when you look back and realise that we had made the wise decision.

Was always a good investment.
If we wanted to play fast paced passing football we needed this kind of surface.

Absolutely. I remember February games in years gone by, when the goal mouth and other well used bits had no green on them, just mud with a few white lines painted on.
The playing surface looked brand new yesterday.
It must have been summer 2015 when I took my lads to a function in the suites upstairs. Fascinating to watch it being laid, also on the club time lapse video produced by club media.
