We actually had rather good time in the Leopard and good craic with the locals.

As with all things it's a stupid minority that give the rest a bad name, a bit like the pillocks with the smoke bombs in the pub in Leek giving all of us a bad name!

Couple of things I -think there were a ffew stoke fans at the match wanting to cause trouble - I was in the waiting room att Stoke station and Shay Given was in there. In walked 4 guys who I initially thought were Blades fans but as they recognised Given ( I diidnt) they were having selfies with him they were talking about what they were doing and going to Vale Park as they thought the craich would be good as we were bringing 4500 so they were going to help the fight against us !!
Also when I came out of the ground past the fucking stupid police who organise the coaches so that its like trying to go through a maze to get out if noot on a coach - there was a load of knuckle dragging Vale fans attacking a young ish Blades fan and suddenly they were all "brave" - ps no fucking copppers around as they were all in lines waiting to stop Blades fans from getting out properly .
Did the local police take their training from the SYP ? probably the 2nd most stupid force in the country !!

Had a nice time in the Bulls head drinking the Plum Porter and a chat with fellow Blades and locals, I have fond memories of the bulls head its where I last had chance to talk to Shred at any length, It was that snowy christmas eve match and had a good old chinwag about real ale!
Stoke in general is a bit scruffy around the edges but so are a lot of places that have lost their main industries. Having said that its not a place I would choose to live!
