I’ve just been reading our next six games and the run up to the New Year is going to be a tricky one. A few winnable games in there but some awkward ones as well. For those who don’t follow it as closely, it reads as follows:-

Bristol City (A)
Reading (H)
Barnsley (A)
Swansea City (H)
Hull City (H)
Norwich City (A)

I would be happy with about 11 points from that, which could conceivably push us into mid-table by January. Saturday is going to be a big turning point because we can either start to pull away or get dragged back into the mire. It could have a massive impact on how we proceed over the following five games and as we all know this can be a critical period in determining how our season pans out.

Barnsley and Norwich away look the toughest ones to me as they’ve both been playing relatively well of late. Having said that, our recent home form suggests we should maybe hang our hat on the away days!

What are your thoughts? How many points do you think we’ll get out of these and which games do you think we might get them from?

bmw convotable....Theres no easy games at this level, just got to take it one game at a time... shagged that dani behr like :)

Every one of those games we could win (easily) but on the flip side everyone is lose-able....put me down for 6 off nil-nil draws

Bristol City (A) - draw
Reading (H) - lose (bogey team)
Barnsley (A) - win
Swansea City (H) - win
Hull City (H) - win
Norwich City (A) - lose

Pfft, all winnable games, and all losable games too. The only teams i don't think we've got much of a chance against are cardiff and QPR.

We beat Reading 3-0 last season, I hope we can do the same again.

Norwich is my Birthday, so I'm hoping we can keep up the good work as I can't remember the last time we lost on that date.

And Bristol are worse than us at home. So hopefully we can do a job on them too!

18pts in the making

Here are my ill thought out predictions. Blades score first.

Bristol City (A) 2-1
Reading (H) 0-2
Barnsley (A) 1-1
Swansea City (H) 1-1
Hull City (H) 2-0
Norwich City (A) 0-3

8 points. That's in line with where I expect us to finish the season, really. Don't think we'll go down, but will be surprised if we're top half.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we give the Dingles a proper spanking. So that I can spend Christmas gloating about it to my girlfriend's son and his stupid dingle biffa girlfriend.

I'm with you. Hate them almost as much as Wed***day. In fact, I hate their fans even more. I was working in Hoyland the other night and was watching the match live on Sky. When Palarse scored the place erupted. Bastard Dingle Scum!!!

We have a glorious chance against Norwich, they have been shite at home I can tell you, if we hit the ground running, their ours for the taking, who's attending that one?

A few of us are staying the night. Thank the locals for their bargain ticket prices by the way!

How much are they Foxy? You'll have to come meet me for a few jars!

Adults - £31.00
Seniors - £25.00
U16 - £20.00
U12 - £13.00

We're staying near the station, so will most likely be out early doors in Wethers. Will have to let you know nearer the time :).

I'll probably be going, got a good friend who's a city fan. Always one of the more expensive grounds, £31 dumps is taking the slash tho'.
Think it was £29 the last time I went two seasons ago. Robbing dogs.

I'll be there Norfolk. Just up the road for us this one pal.
Anyway, with the wife being a Norwich season ticket holder she'll be well up for rubbing my nose in it!!
I personally fuckin hate Norwich City, and , our record at Carrow Road is shite.
This would be the only fixture in december which i would definitely be surprised if we won.
COYRWW

I'll be there, staying in Norwich overnight. Looking forward to it actually, even though I know we'll lose.

In no particular order:

a couple of 0 - 0's
a couple of 1 - 0 wins
and a couple of how's your father anything goes type scores/results

Prediction: 9 points
