I just thought I'd share it, the header for the thread says " the chant is " it doesn't say it has to be a Sheffield United one, albeit it's on an SUFC forum.

It was a mere observation, I just thought you could have easily quoted my post if you were wanting a conversation, otherwise it just looks like a dig, either way it's no big deal. I suppose it's all about attention to detail.

I mean, I do think it’s a poor song but then not many stand up to close scrutiny, when you get right down to it. I constantly annoy my son by saying I don’t like our songs. The modern tendency being to fit too many syllables in so you have to say the player names slightly in the wrong way

Aye it sounds much better chanted than written, the Isidor one is good as well, you'll probs hear it Saturday, or it's probs on Tik Tok or something.

I actually like Sheffield, my wife's mother used to live right next to the Chesterfield canal, so used to visit quite often. I was particularly fond of a kebab shop in Worksop, think it was called Topkappi or something. Also used to go to a huge market at Thorsby, took all day to go around it. I've been to both grounds, I prefer Bramwall lane over Hillsborough, I think they call it the pigs ground on here lol.

The locals/students used to think I looked like Craig Bellamy. Cue chants of Craig Craig Bellamy when I went in certain bars.
