I think based on that attendances in League 1 have held up pretty well. They were always going to be down losing three bigger clubs so to be down just 15% is pretty strong, particularly as we have held up pretty well (18209 this season against 18701 last season) and we will probably be about the same come season end.

Given we haven't had the Wednesday game this year, which normally sticks 500 on the average on its own, I think attendance this year has been excellent.

If I were chairman at one of the lesser supported league one teams I'd be rooting for Wolves and Wednesday to come down and us to miss out again.
