Well your Swindon mate cant have been lately because since Tim Sherwood has been involved we don't ponce around so much as the back as we did we get it forward quicker playing it to feet I might add not launching it.
We have had dire injuries this season and with still four players out but Obika are main striker only came back a couple of weeks ago and makes such a difference to our side.
As a team were either dire or superb it depends which Swindon team turns up on the day as we never know. We are where we are but that is mainly due a large number of players missing for most of the season.
I haven't seen one decent team in this league yet and anyone can beat anyone in my opinion.

Have good memories of going to your place in the play offs and winning 2-1 a couple of season ago and hopefully we can repeat that.

I'd like us to sign Obika in January from what I've seen and heard about him, and it should be possible with his contract expiring. He seems to have a good balance of pace, strength and skill.

You will have seen more of him than me though, what would you say his main strengths are? Do you think he is or could be one of the best strikers in the league? What sort of clubs do you think might be interested in him?

The biggest question is whether you can defend. We're always likely to ship a goal which means well organised teams can sit deep and wait for their moment. However, if you can't defend properly you could get a bit of a pasting.

Gone for two nil. No reason why except we have to win.

Probably Wilders most important home game since Oxford. Looking at Boltons upcoming fixtures I expect them to take 12 points out of 12 so we cant afford to lose ( or probably draw) any of the games upto and including New Year's Eve.

Scunny have got a more difficult run but with a six point lead over us they can afford a couple of slips.

Pretty much how I see it as well. The next month will tell us if we are going to be competitive for one of the auto slots or if we are going to be this seasons version of Coventry who last season were flying until the beginning of December before a couple of unlucky defeats punctured their confidence and they then collapsed after the New Year.

Early goal on Saturday and we could win by two or three, if not then I foresee a frustrating draw.

Obika is a very good player - big -strong - loads of pace and holds the ball up well and brings players into the game his problem is he's injury prone normally hamstring problems but in my reckoning one of the best strikers in L1. He's not 100% match fit yet as he's only just come back from injury having been out most of the season but when he plays defenders are very wary of him, if he's on fire tomorrow and hopefully he is you will see a very good player.

I'm not expecting anything but you to win as defensively we are shocking third worst defence in the league which is another reason we are where we are. The problem is our chairman for the last two seasons has sold all the good players off we had and brought in young players that he wants the manager to develop but its backfired massively this season and Sherwood has instantly told the chairman we need experience in the side which hopefully we will get in January. Having said that we have some good young talented players but they are not ready for a regular season yet as they blow hot and cold which you get with young players.
So the way our chairman works is bring in young talent released by other clubs for nothing nuture them and get them ready for L1 then sell them off.
So season before last we sold Luongo and Gladwin who came from non league and sold the pair to QPR for 3.5 million as an example and that is the plan for our club but in fairness the chairman has wiped out all our debt and got us on an even keel but this season has been dire.
If we get all our players back and firing we do have a good team when they are on song.
Don't know how tomorrow will go no doubt you will want to put right your defeat to Walsall in the last home game and we want to carry on after we beat Bradford the other week. On thing you can guarantee it wont be goalless.

Obika seems like a perfect strike partner for a goal poacher. I don't think it's a coincidence Ajose's not done as well without him. I'd like to see him alongside Billy Sharp. So I hope he does have a good game tomorrow, as long as we still win!

Which other players of yours do you rate highly? Kasim's looked good when I've seen him.

You're not as bad defensively as Bury are/were when they played us, and it took us 93 minutes to score against 10 men. So you never know. But I don't think you have the sort of team that will be comfortable playing defensively for 90 minutes, partly due to that lack of experience you mention.

I still have no idea whether Sherwood is actually any good as a manager. Out of his depth at Spurs for his first job and Villa were a car crash club long before he joined them. Had a very good reputation as a coach.

this is the first match in a long time where I just don't have a feeling about whether we'll win, lose or draw. I hope Done starts, I hope Wright is fit and plays, I hope Duffy looks a bit sharper than he did when he came on against Bolton, I hope Freeman and Lafferty play and give them a torrid time.

Ajose has no done well at Charlton because they are playing the wrong way to suit his game but now Robinson has gone in as manager who likes to play football on the floor I get a feeling Ajose will start to score. Ajose will be absent for the majorty of most games but when he played for us in the box he made the right moves and bagged 25 goals.
When we played Charlton when Slade was manager a few weeks ago all they did was hoof the ball down the channels to Ajose which totally wrong for Ajose and these so called experienced managers sign a player who is a box player so sign him from us for that and then play him out wide I find it unbelievable Slade did that.
Kasim is a class act and so good in possession of the ball but will be out tomorrow as he's injured.

Regarding Sherwood he's made changes to the side in three league games and we've won the three. Before Sherwood came on board we were playing too much suicide football across the back and Sherwood has adjusted that and although we still play out from the back and through the midfield we get the ball forward quicker than we previously were.
I see one of your guys put on here about the amount of possession your team have had in games well for the last three seasons in most of our games we have had the majority of possession in some cases over 70% but still lost as teams sussed out how to play against us which is why Sherwood has twigged the way we play.
One of our best players is Doughty we have on loan from QPR who is a midfield player who normally plays centrally or can have a roaming role sometimes depending on the opposition and is a real box to box player so he has only come back recently as he's been out injured for a long while as well.
The keeper we signed from Liverpool Vigoroux (Chilean) is creating a lot of interest from Championship clubs this season Newcastle and Wolves mainly and is a great shot stopper the problem has been the defenders in front of him.
We have the youngest team in L1 average age 21 which is why Sherwood has said we need experience in the side which most fans realised at the start of the season.
If you like to play football and so do we it should be a good game for the neutral but our problem is were too lightweight and need a few physical players in the side - Thompson is physical but he's still out injured and Kasim is but the rest are lightweight.
Anyhow enjoy the game but not too much and we need the points and some of our players have been given ultimatums this week start performing or be replaced in January. Technically they are all good but all the fans feel they have been performing under par and maybe with a bigger crowd and that threat I'm hoping we turn it on tomorrow.

If you look at Slade's record, particularly at Orient, it's no surprise he signed unsuitable players. He's not good in the transfer market, he's better at coaching players he inherits to improve them.

Our players have also been given an ultimatum.

I'm with Pinchy on this and we will lose 1-2. Parked bus, nervous team, fractious crowd and breakaway goals.

How very odd. You said that before I made a prediction!!! As it happens, your foresight was spot-on. I'm afraid I do have to predict a victory for Swindon Town.
