Tim Sherwood brings his Swindon team to the Lane fresh after their home win over Bradford, will we back to winning ways? Im going 2-0 UTB Billy & Duffy to score one each half

3-0 and a welcome return to wiping the floor with sides like these.

UTB!

Gone with a resounding 5-0! We cant go on having 30 shots a game and not scoring, hopefully we will be back with sharpy and done. Done to get on the score sheet and coutts hattrick.........well I can dream.

Gone for 2-1.

Think this will be Oxford part 2. We will concede first and the the crowd will get edgy but I think Chris will work his magic again at half time and we will have enough to get the job done.

Think Rochdale draw with Scunny as well, hope so at least.

some teams going to catch us with our scoring boots on when we turn our domination into a big win
fancy it to be this one

By the law of averages if we have 20 shots a game then we're due goals.

Been a bit cautious and predicted 2-0
But wouldnt surprise me if it's a 4-0 or 5-1 are something.

We should win this one. Now we're out of the cup, there's no excuse to not give every league game 100%, and we should be slotting away these home ties comfortably.

We've enjoyed plenty of good results against Swindon the past few years, (barring the play-offs. Typical) and a cold, bright December Saturday at BDTBL is a great backdrop for a convincing home win, but it certainly won't be a thrashing. 2 nowt Blades, Duffy and Fleck. In the pub by 5 to warm up with your beer jackets and watch Leicester get slaughtered by Citeh in the evening kick off.

I'm saying 1-1, I think Clarke will start again and we will struggle because of this.
Really hope I'm wrong on all 3!

3-0 all goals coming in added time.

And the referee for this game is Gavin Ward, the last time he reffed one of our games it was against Swindon on the 20th Sept 2014,the game that ended up with Swindon beating us 5-2.

Dont know if he has been to Bramall Lane before.

4-0 Blades. Wilder going back to Done and Sharp up front, as per when we last scored a few goals, Sharp bags 2, Done 1 and another coming from midfield.

Blades 2-1 Swindon

Fleck 24', Lavery 68'...............Obika 52'

Sharp to miss 3 penalties only to later declare "I'll stick my hand up for the next one".

I don't think Swindon will play as defensively as other sides have recently, and even if they tried to I'm not sure they could do it. So I think we'll run riot.

You miserable fucker Ken, where's the 8-0 prediction? A couple of hat-tricks. one for Sharp, another for Done (don't smile), and one-a-piece for Coutts and Fleck, c'mon Ken, less of the caution and more of the biblical scorelines UTB

Got me tix for Cov today

Looking forward to a 2-0 win and a Billy hat trick on the 15th :)

I'm with Pinchy on this and we will lose 1-2. Parked bus, nervous team, fractious crowd and breakaway goals.

Got to be a loss this one the wheels have come off and teams have found us out if you believe what you read on here ;) ............................................... 3-1 Blades

Also hope that Done is restored and we can play what I (and quite a number of others) feel is our strongest side at the moment...

Moore

O'Connell
Wright
EEL

Freeman
Lafferty

Coutts
Fleck
Duffy

Sharp
Done

However, I wouldn't be surprised to see Clarke and Basham continue. I bow to CW's superior wisdom.

1-1

Sorry lads but I think a few teams know what they have to do now at the lane.. we need an early goal but I can see us getting pegged back early after missing loads of chances and the bus rolling in front of the net...

Done / Sharp.... might be different..

0 - 4 Swinton win .

Satan's spawn has been frozen out but Satan himself looks likely to play again as Wright struggling .

Gone for two nil. No reason why except we have to win.

Probably Wilders most important home game since Oxford. Looking at Boltons upcoming fixtures I expect them to take 12 points out of 12 so we cant afford to lose ( or probably draw) any of the games upto and including New Year's Eve.

Scunny have got a more difficult run but with a six point lead over us they can afford a couple of slips.

We will probably lose and so will scunny just to piss us off with what might have been.

Spoke a Swindon supporting colleague this morning who is a regular attendee - said that they will well and truly park the bus and just have Obika up top as an outlet. Also said we should pressure and close them down as they try and play the ball out of defence and are prone to making costly errors. 2 - 0 to the Mighty Blades!!

Well your Swindon mate cant have been lately because since Tim Sherwood has been involved we don't ponce around so much as the back as we did we get it forward quicker playing it to feet I might add not launching it.
We have had dire injuries this season and with still four players out but Obika are main striker only came back a couple of weeks ago and makes such a difference to our side.
As a team were either dire or superb it depends which Swindon team turns up on the day as we never know. We are where we are but that is mainly due a large number of players missing for most of the season.
I haven't seen one decent team in this league yet and anyone can beat anyone in my opinion.

Have good memories of going to your place in the play offs and winning 2-1 a couple of season ago and hopefully we can repeat that.
