I can't see the problem with it at all. Looks ok to me, and it's definitely not Ramsdens Currency territory which was about as low rent as you could get.
If we'd put Peter Sutcliffes face on the shirt I could understand some of the reactions but fucks sake, it's just a lucky cat.

As always with these things - its the design that cocks it up. Appreciate they've at least matched the colours - but a box sponsor like this rarely looks good - they'd have been better having the cat the same size as the lettering and sitting at the start of "Maneki" and made it a rectangular strip - would've been much easier on the eye

We're hardly in a position to be so fussy about what a sponsors logo looks like. Suck it up I guess, too many fans acting like petulant teenagers over inconsequential things.
