.....is the bloody january Transfer Window.

Quinn, Lowton, Evans, (court case pending) and Motgomery could all concievably go.

But if we are within reach of promotion by Jan then I dont think even Mccabe would be stupid enough to strip the assets again. Out of those four mentioned I have to say I would get rid of Monty purely because we have cover for him

We generally get a few weeks notice about who will be going. Sometime in November, the odd comment about a player's "attitude" will get dropped into the mix. This will then be followed by some "rumours from the training ground" and his pesky will get a mention. By this time, the snowball will be halfway downhill as most posters will by then have convinced themselves that "he's not that good anyway" and the ensuing departure in January will be "an excellent piece of business by the club".

Suspect it will be like the summer with DW in limbo during the window until he knows who if any of the big earners are on their way.

If anyone goes it will be an eleventh hour dealing leaving United without time to bring in permanent replacements with much talk of what could we do...it was the agents fault...it's not fair....it's everyone's fault but ours...we can get some more loan players in next week..

I will be very surprised if Danny can keep this squad together for the whole season, which imo is capable of gaining promotion.
Can anyone see McCabe resisting a cheque or two in the January for the likes of Quinn,Maguire or any other player that commands £1 million plus.
Always been a selling club, always will be.

January HAS to be the time that we finally show some manballs and say "no" we are not selling them. There will be offers for the mentioned players (possibly not Evans due to the situation) but if we are serious about going straight back up, then we have to refuse any sales. The offers wont be that big anyway. The only one that wouldnt have me tearing my own balls off would be if Monty went.

This is in the "Jason Koumas is trouble in the dressing room" envelope isn't it?
