The bigger club?

Decent article, He points out everything that needs pointing out.
But to get a wednesdayite to admit to us now being a bigger club would be a hard thing to do.

Not so sure about it being a good article - he doesn't cover any ground that hasn't been covered a million times before.

This "big club" nonsense is a load of rubbish anyway. I'd sooner be a "small club" like Bolton than a "big club" like Wolves.

i like those mint clubs. very nice.

Not a bad read. I'll admit and say wednesday were the "bigger" club and there is a possiblity that they still are but only slightly. With everything that is going on at the Lane, even if we go down (which we won't), i can see us flying ahead of the blue and white side of the city in all aspects.

That's not Jack Frost is it???

Anyway...

Jack's right, it's a pointless debate. Lets get on & stay ahead in the Prem.. No-one will be even raising the issue if we stay up, & do well next year. At the moment, only those who wear a crackling jacket are arguing! Lets look at the reality..
1. Finances :- Blades are miles ahead.
2. Players:- Blades are miles ahead
3. League position:- Blades are not far enough ahead to be comfortable yet...
4. Crowds:- This is dictated by the division as much as anything. Blades are ahead.
5. Future prospects.... Looking very good for Utd, & looking very mediocre for the wendys.

As for 'rather be like Bolton'.. I'd say Bolton are held together by the legend of Allardyce. When they eventually lose him, and they WILL, they will return to the CCC, unless they get another superb manager. Sheff Utd will always need a decent man (like NW), but the off-field business & supporters at BDTBL are so good I think we'll be a more attractive proposition to the better managers, when its time for a change. Who could do as well or better than Allardyce? I bet a few managers would fancy taking Utd further forward though...
UTB!

Big clubs?
Manchester United and Liverpool in this country. All the rest of us are just aspiring to greatness. Chelsea? Big spenders is all. Arsenal? Not yet. The Blades? At least we are run well, but the last time we won anything of note was 1925. Wendy? One Mickey Mouse cup = nowt. Leeds? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
