Forget talk of play-offs and other nonsense. However, this win tonight puts us in a position which is looking very healthy, and realistically looking safe considering our recent form.

This recent form and the fact we have pulled away from the relegation zone means we can put more focus on the cup, therefore 'resting' players in games such as Peterborough, which we may have not been able to afford otherwise. On the other hand, Charlton will have to be constantly prioritising the league, giving us another small advantage a week on Sunday.

Cloughies rotation policy is excellent. He's juggled cup and league since December and with the additions of Scoogs, the Beard and Whispering Bob players are being refreshed.

My concern is for Harry and Collins. Any injury or suspension and wehave to reshuffle a little

I don't think these players need a rest. The 210 minute slog against Fulham didn't phase them one bit. Clough is doing a brilliant job of rotation and the team spirit is so high right now they all look super keen just to be involved.

I think you have lost the plot :)..we are only 6 points away from the drop zone!!!!...rest players? No way

The game I'm mainly referring to is Peterborough. A game that, had we been in the bottom 4, would have had to go all out to win. Therefore, affecting our chances on the Sunday against Charlton. Now, we are in a position where a win wouldn't be VITAL, and Clough can be cautious about who plays and for how long. I am in no way inferring we can just throw our reserves out for the next few games.

Fuck letting up. Keep it going. Never take the foot off the throat when on top. I want to win out and see where that takes us.

This is the way to build a club to get out of this division like Southampton and Norwich as next year could be memorable.

The points on the board now means when we eventually run out of steam we will be out of danger . Carry on doing what we are doing for as long as we can.

Why would you need to rest players (unless they have a niggle) for a game on a Tuesday when we have four days until the next game. Professional footballers should be able to play 2 games per week without a problem.Barca hardly ever rest Messi

Top half! I honestly never thought i would live to see the day!

I'd like to thank my agent, everybody who supported me and...excuse me...i'm getting a bit emotional here...

Thanks Ken for this, and thanks fot similar from others, they make me smile, even though I have no idea who the hell most of them are.

I think in the final 15 minutes of the Forest match you saw the impact the crowd can have on a team. The atmosphere gave the players that extra 10% when their legs were going.

I don't want to get carried away but there is a real danger of us becoming a good team!

Whatever shall we do?
