The assault on O'Hare

From the angle behind O'Hare after he scores, the keeper clearly 'does him'
There is a definite intention to boot him.
Cynical and dangerous and should be looked at as a retrospective red card.

You can see it clearly here at 3 mins 42 secs 🤬

As much as I hate VAR these are the times when I miss it 🤬🤬

Players know the odd keeper will try to bring them down with their legs it is obvious what he did.Another factor on Bamfords mind he saw the cut on O'Hares head, you had better jump over this keeper or he will lead with his cleats

It looks to me that right at the last moment, the keeper raises his already high leg, into an unnatural position, with the intention of catching COH. I guess they could argue that that final move was him trying to control his balance, but bollox to that. Naked eye and seeing the photos, he went for him IMO.

His momentum carries him forward, it’s a collision that happens every now and then.

Same can be said about Soumare but he still walked considering both players dangled a foot at the ball but the Charlton lad came off worse.

There was a challenge on Seriki in the second half by their left back where he went in with the elbow with as much 'intent' as Tangy did last week.

Result? Just a free kick. If it is a free kick, then it is an offence, yeah? The offence was Seriki was fouled. How was he fouled? He was challenged with an elbow.

Refs are SO consistent, aren't they?

Keeper knew exactly what he was doing.
O'Hare was very brave ! The keeper came charging out he's a good 6 inches taller than Callum! He had one thing on his mind ! Get to the ball first he knew he was gonna get
clattered but to get a foot in the face ! Brave guy! Sending off for dangerous play it doesn't need to be intentional.
Remember George Long getting sent off at the lane end! his offence was no where as dangerous as that.
Hope Wilder requests the ref look at the video as he must have been blind to what happened.

Exactly that. In the extended highlights there are a couple of angles and the keeper definitely lifts his studs up after he has fallen, completely unatural position.

Referee had perfect view, he had no intentions of using his red card on an Ipswich player after not dishing one out for that.

The keepr should have been straight red and the defender who pushed Ohare from behind into keeper also should have been carded, very least the keeper has a yellow for that, and then 2nd yellow for the shove in after math.

Their CB should have been sent for same tackle as Tanganga.

Then furlough should have been given 2nd yellow for simulation rolling around he did.

I still can’t get my head around why a keeper would lead with his feet in that situation unless he was deliberately out to put one on O’Hare to get him to bottle the challenge.

Have to be honest and for me the collision is purely accidental. The keeper spreads himself in an attempt to save the incoming shot. O'Hares momentum carries him forward into an accidental collision.

As I’ve said elsewhere, the main culprit is the defender, who pushes O’Hare after the ball has gone. That’s what makes O’Hare fall down, into the pay of the oncoming keeper. Reckless from the defender.

That’s how I saw it, the keeper is always going to try and make himself as big as possible for a one on one. If the defender doesn’t push O’Hare then the worst that would happen is he is tripped by the keeper.

The keeper, seeing O’Hare chip him wasn’t to know where the ball was going, (probably had a good idea), but just in case O’Hare managed to follow it up, out comes the leg. C**t.

In real time from a side view I thought it was accidental. From my seat it looked like the defender had unbalanced him and he was on his way down and collided with the keepers leg.

I didn’t leave the stadium feeling particularly aggrieved.

After seeing it back from a few different angles it does look like the keepers left something in there and it looks a bit naughty but I’m not sure it’s intentionally malicious. Be a rate cunt to put the studs in there on purpose. O’Hare is lucky he’s not come out a lot worse. He’s a brave, tough, hard working little bastard.

He definitely raised his foot to catch Cal as he knew he would get away with it as it being a bit of a scramble of multiple players colliding.

Correct call would have been a booking for the CB who instigated the fall and same for the GK for the dangerous high boot.
