Why does an SUFC manager appointed mid season have success playing attacking football then turn so negative, particularly away, in their second season?

Blackwell did it, Clough did it and although it's early days Hecky seems to be doing it too.

I like the man he speaks eloquently and represents the club well, but we need to get after these teams away from home Hecky. They are no better than we are!

Gu’won I will start this one…..

Why does Mcburnie jump for an aerial challenge, but lower his head and hunch his body up that much.. that he ends up lower than what he would be just standing and not jumping?
Connor sammon was the world master at this feat

Why does the entire defence look incapable and in any case unwilling to block the cross?
An excellent point. The goal at WBA and the chance that hit the post today.

The fullbacks do know what their actual job is, don’t they?

The job description itself says 1. Stop the cross. 2. See point one.

Defensive 101.

Not going to pick on someone who has been on for 2 mins but not sure what McBurnie was trying to achieve for the goal. He could have just stood his ground and proved a nuisance to the scorer.

At least they hit the post. Made me feel better about taking a point.

Why does Mcburnie turn his body to the corner flag when shaping up to shoot

He was negative away last season and similar at Watford but I didn’t see anything negative today we went for it my only gripe is our #9

I think he brought McBurnie on over Khadra or McAtee for height defensively which in the end didn't work. After Brewster came on he was pushing their centre halves back and creating all sorts of space between them and Howson/McNair. I just think a braver manager would have exploited that and brought one of our flair players on and go for the killer third, whereas we tend to take the most risk averse option and try and back out defence not to concede

Why do our fans demand that young players who are not match fit get thrown on a big game knowing they'll slaughter them when they would invariably be not very good trying to play a game that is unfamiliar and not what they're good at?

That’s an easy one. Whatever they would do wouldn’t be as bad as what McBurnie produced

Not going to get very match fit sat on the bench for 90 minutes are they?

Coz McBurnie made all the fucking difference didn't he?
