Don't blame you mate,I'm sure mcCabes trigger finger is getting very twitchy,Adkins has brought nothing to the table tbh, almost a full season and the previous manager still getting the blame, very poor, and it hurts

A very reliable source tells me McCabe would have got rid of him months ago. There are 2 directors who want him gone and the others voted to keep him. I kind of like some of things he does in a director of football fashion, but players don't play for him which at the end of the day rules everything

'it's a results driven business'.. ahem .. forgive the cliche.. our results have been crap.. especially away

Them continuing to delay dispatching the season ticket renewal form tells you that they are in two minds or more about what to do.

Do you really think if McCabe wanted him gone he'd still be here?

Look at McCabe's track record re: 'sackings'

Another disappointing result from a season of disappointments.
Playing now for mid-table respectability.
Time to start thinking of next season.
Play our players, forget the loanees, leave them out or on the bench.
At least we can start thinking ahead with months to spare and not just weeks after the Play-Off failures.
Might even have a head start over some other clubs.

Three extra months of not feeling disappointed, acceptance that promotion/play offs was no where near achievable, be it because of the manager, the players, a combination of both.

It's an odd feeling of not leaving BDTBL frustrated, annoyed, a weekend spoilt... walking away this season has been a mixture of, it doesn't matter anymore and/or what's for tea tonight?

I thought it was ageing that made me feel this way, less passionate about the things I love, but it isn't... it's purely down to Sheffield United.

I hope that one day soon, United will have me feeling up/down, here and there, but the flatline has become even stronger over the last decade.

Up The Blades, It doesn't even look right written down, just three words... words that once meant passion, belief and a feeling that three other words didn't come close to...

I'm not happy with accepting being moderate and failures...

I think if we finish the season in the same fashion as today, McCabe will get enough backers to pull out. Looking at your interview again it took a while for him to fully support adkins, 3rd time of asking.

If we are going to change the manager do it now, not a month into pre season like last year or as is more likely what they will do is wait until November.

Put a caretaker in and start tapping up replacements now so they can have a look at the squad and see what wants changing from day one.

I don't think he is the man for the job. I would rather have Warnock. Please let me put my tin hat on before you throw nasty insults at me. I could justify it but I just think the decisions made at crucial points in his tenure beggar belief. Yes he has the CV but I could understand Clough's reasoning for team selection better than Adkins. At least he knew he had to counter attack to have any chance. FFS Sammon? Need a goal. When did he score last?

We need a leader of men and when things go against you Adkins kind of isn't what you need to be listening to if that makes sense. I think that's who players respect these days. Warnock isn't the answer as he would be a short term fix, however Page or Wilder would be especially if money is low and you're looking to inspire youngsters.

Pull out of the club?

Edgar gone for a few weeks with Canada. Baptiste injured out for 2-3 weeks so thats 2 not playing. He will probably not play Sammon again- surely? Hammond on the other hand..

Which we'll certainly take advantage of ......
