Said it a few weeks back but this squad is the best in this division by some distance. We've not just won the last few games, we've completely outclassed the opposition. Today, despite the usual defensive lapses, we won without getting out of second gear. We took Lowe, Doyle, McBurnie and Berge off and replaced them with Bash, McAtee, Arblaster (very promising player) and Brewster. Very nice when you can do that.
We've got Bogle and Billy to come back, more good players waiting for their chance and we really do look like a team that's going places. Can't praise the management enough for the vision and the plan that they have in place. It really is nice to have a chairman, or whatever he's called, and a board that's not only sanctioned good signings, they haven't caved in and given our players away.
We're a joy to watch right now, long may it continue.
