Not many teams in this league are capable of punishing us like Swindon did, so why the fuck haven't we done that before now? Far from being proud of them because they put in some effort, I'm even more pissed off that we've been so fucking negative all season.

Before now I didn't want Clough to go, I just wanted him to show some signs of improvement and give me some hope, but that, tonight, has done it for me. I want him gone and a manager in who will use our attacking players to their potential, rather than playing it safe against teams like Yeovil, Crawley and Fleetwood.

Indeed, awful defending (not helped by the utter lack of recognised Centre Backs) and a goalkeeper who these days lets in everything that comes his way. The entire back line needs a huge re-haul.

Like I say though, not many teams in our division are capable of punishing a poor defence like Swindon did tonight.

If we had attacked most of the teams in League 1 like that, we would have annihilated them, and would have picked up a fair few more points along the way.

Clough's stubbornness and negativity has cost us promotion. There is no doubt about that in my mind now.

The only way his position will be tenable is if he acknowledges this and makes the required changes pretty sharpish. His stubbornness and adamance that it was everyone's fault but his makes this outcome unlikely.
