Are testimonials a thing anymore?? Historically, they were more about a final pay day to help set up a player in business after their playing days were over. They were useful at the time when players were, relatively speaking, poorly paid. Not sure Billy or any player who has had his career and his income needs it... Not even sure he would want it either. I suspect Billy won't be short of offers if he does leave.

As a man who has encountered person tragedy and who is an ambassador for a very worthy charity... I beg to differ.

I am sure he would love a testomonial, if only to involve his Charity and raise some much needed funds to support others.
