Having ploughed through this earlier today, I can't understand the motivation of foreigners (who appear to have little interest in the club) to buy a club who have zero chance of making it to the top 6:

The sooner we get rid of them the better - but support the team in doing so.

That’s a brilliant (incredibly depressing) article. Unfortunately it completely underlines my view that the modern game is so far removed from a truly competitive set of leagues, owners may as well just put their cash on the table at the start of a season … and whoever has the biggest pile wins.
Personally I’d like to see a European Super League …. Get rid of the greedy few and have a less wealthy but more competitive domestic league.

Meh, it's fine, it's only the EFL. Pretty sure 71 of the clubs in it are structured so they can plan for a match and make transfers at the same time so there should be no problem?
