Henry Winter is an articulate and unbiased journalist. This article is typical of the stuff he writes regularly and is a very good read even if you're not a Blade.
So different from the bile spouted by that blinkered, ignorant fuckin mongrel from the Daily Mail whose name escapes me.

Agreed Blackheath Blade always enjoy reading his stuff. What always comes through is that Nigel is very level headed and obviously learnt a lot from his dad but clearly wants to make his own mark on management. You'd think it was difficult to not be up for a game such as this but having seen how we've faltered in recent play off final, I really think this time will be very different...performance wise that is, not so sure about result!

BusheyBlade, so many people in London have wished me good luck this week, I thought it was a piss take.
All the Charlton fans who sent me a "well done" message after the quarters have been in touch to repeat their hope that we get to the final and even a couple of Gooners on our department have wished the Blades the same.
I'm with you on this one. I've said in every round of the Cup this year that "we'll give them a game" and this Sunday is no different. Because of Nigel Clough and the belief he's instilled in the team, we took Villa apart, dominated Fulham, out smarted Forest and wanted it more against Charlton.
If we can combine that belief, experience and a bit of nous, I think we'll make history this weekend.

Great interview with Nige,he likes a mix of old heads with bringing through the talent we have in the academy.
Really level headed, and I believe the best manager since Howard Kendall (great football under him )
No excuses or bluster, and I think we're really lucky to have him ,as after all we are still a league three team.
United in the FA cup semi final who'd have thought it just six months ago !
UTB:)
