Think most of the starting XI picks itself, big question is does Campbell, One or Brewster (supposedly just missed out midweek so should be back) start up front? O'Hare showed more promise on Tuesday than he has done recently, although the LW still remains a problem. I'd have put in Brookes but he seems to be low on confidence so maybe this isn't the match for him. Put Hamer centrally and let him have a pop from distance.

I'd go for:

Bench:

Faxon
Seriki
Robinson
McCallum
Brookes
Brewster
One
Peck

Campbell starts, Onè comes on. Brewdog is a failed project (due to injuries) at striker, play him further back as a sub for Hamer until his contract expires.

Do we know that Moore is definitely out?

We don’t and Wilder said it didn’t look good and that he wasn’t playing mind games. Despite their previous assertions that Moore was a big donkey who isn’t fit to lace Ugbo’s boots, plenty of oinkers seem relieved that Moore won’t be playing.

Imagine the effect of him passing a late fitness test and starting on Sunday.

I agree, unless of course Moore is fit to play, defencevly strong with skill and pace in midfield, as usual this season, goals 🤔 eight out of ten times that team would win, 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Yep, that is how I would start it. In an ideal world, big Kiefer would be our battering ram up top, but Campbell has shown he knows where the goal is, so let's give him the shirt.

They should be, and in my experience (away from social media), most Blades fans recognise how important he is to us.

I'd like us to start with two strikers, but have Brewster and Campbell got 90 minutes in them? I think the o/p is pretty spot on, though Wilder will stick with Hamer out wide and O'Hare behind Campbell.

Agree, if Moore is fit start Moore & Campbell with 4 in midfield, Rak-Sakyi, Arblaster, Souza, Hamer, if not put Hamer up with him & bring Brooks in

Of course they've got 90 minutes in them, stupid question, trouble is Tone, it's 45 minutes each.

No chance he starts 2 strikers & 2 wingers
No I think he will go one up top. I think we have looked alot better with 2 up top. Moore has struggled up top on his own and he is by far the best suited to it. That lineup is what I would like not what I expect.

Agree with the OP. Would be tempted to play Hamer centrally, and in the pocket just behind Campbell.

Id start Brewster for O'Hare and bring O'Hare on later in the game. He's been pretty ineffective recently but also lucky that Brewster got injured, Hamer and Souza got suspended and Brooks has been out of form.

Campbell and Brewster could no doubt do 90 mins, but would be unlikely to so that we can freshen things up

I'd say that Moore will make the bench but will be unused.

I agree we've looked better with 2 strikers but if he does that he'll play only 1 winger coz he wants the pressing & tackling of a 3rd midfielder to help Souza & Blaster

On a serious note are there any Wednesday players who can get into our team at all? Like even their best player? Honestly i’m not too familiar with their squad

Take Bannan out the game and they’re toast. Stick Blaster/Souza on him and they have zero out ball/ability to get up the pitch. Personally I’d like to see Souza put Bannan into row Z early on. Set the tone.

I don`t want us to play with 10 men. Ref is inexperienced, and I think he`s given 6 reds in 16 games, though all were 2 yellows. Surprised he was chosen, owt could happen.

Seriously, no, none of them.
Couple would get in on my bench but I wouldn’t start a single one of their players.

Beadle over Davies.
Bannan / Charles as more established cover for Peck
Either Musaba / Gassama for some pace
