Team vs Leicester

I hope we go for it, beat Leicester then draw and dispatch Man Utd in the next round. This will result in me becoming King of our office having taken four points off Derby and six off Leeds this season (company policy not to employ W********ites).

Given Blackman’s fitness I wouldn’t risk him. Front 2 I’d go with the two unlikely to start vs QPR.

Dunno if I'd risk Brooks even if he's fit. Part of me wants us to go for it and play our strongest team but I'm also worried about injuries and suspensions. I'd rest Leon, maybe Billy too, start with two of Wilson / Don / Ched up front. A lot depends on the team Leicester put out. We may have a chance if they rest players. A draw wouldn't be too helpful given our play off aspirations, we don't want a fixture backlog.

Is what I would go for a bit more cautious and plenty of people that will get stuck in if needed but also have the pace on the wings and upfront for if we get a chance to counter. Or them players but slightly different formation of 4-2-2-2 giving Duffy and carruthers free roam of the pitch and letting bash and Lunny sit deep. Would like to see us go for this but think if we do we could end up getting ripped apart with there pace so might be best to sit back make it tight and hope to knick one or get one on the break. BUT and been a big but wilder won't do that and we wouldn't want it every other way so I am sure my line ups will be totally off the mark but we will see.

I just don't want to see us play naively and get ripped apart. It's an opportunity to practice a different approach, one which could serve us well in the league at places like Fulham. Try to keep it tight and pick our moments to attack.

I am not convinced tomorrow can tell us anything about the remaining League games as there are so many players unavailable for selection.
