Cooper
Seriki Anel Robinson Burrows
Peck Choudhury*
Brooks Hamer Brereton
Moore

Subs: Davies, Gilchrist, Holding, McCallum, O'Hare, JRS, Brewster, Campbell, Oné

* Souza if fit

Swap Moore for Campbell at HT. I'd rather finish the game with Campbell than have him sit down on 55 minutes and need substituting

Don't think it's a game for O'Hare or JRS so I'd spring another Brooks on them and see what happens. He probably works best with Seriki too, and can drop in as a wide CM if needed

I'd rather start Holding as well but we've wasted 6 weeks not getting him bedded in and I struggle to see Wilder bringing him in and dropping Captain Fantastic for this of all games

Cooper
Seriki Anel Holding Burrows
-----Souza----Peck------
JRS-----Hamer-----BBD
-------Campbell------

Subs: Davies, Gilchrist, JLT, McCallum, Brewster, Moore, Cannon, Choudhary, O'Hare

If Vini isn't fit, then swap him for Choudhary
I wouldn't start JRS the way he's been playing. They will start strong and target him if he plays. Save his legs for the last 30 mins depending how the game is going.

Although he's not adding much going forward at the minute we will need OHares energy so I'd have him in there and there's no way Wilder drops Robinson

Good point regarding JRS, just thought he could stretch the game but as you mention, that could be useful for the last 30.

Thought JRS did well the other night.

Cooper
Seriki Anel Holding Burrows
Souza (he’s gonna be fit) Peck
Hamer
JRS BBD
Campbell

You need O Hare and his work rate and the exact opposite is true of JRS and his lack of work rate.

He does not work hard enough at tracking back as we saw in the Leeds game. He also hasn't offered as much going forward recently so for me he is an impact sub when their trotters are getting tired.

Start your best team. Tyrese from the start for me.

Working off the assumption that we're missing Gilchrist, Clarke, T Davies & Souza - as seems likely.

I'd like to see us manage Hamer's minutes as best we can, he's vital to anything we're going to achieve this season.

Wednesday don't play out from the back very much or very effectively do they? That minimises the need for O'Hare, and beyond that I think he's just likely to get swamped, in a fast attritional game on a poor pitch, not that he's much of an offensive weapon anyway. We need players who pack a punch up there, they are weak defensively and we must exploit that

My worry playing Robbo is if he does something stupid, they know he is a red card waiting to happen so they hoping Patterson plays to go at him

I reckon it will be;

Cooper
Seriki
Anel
JLT
Burrows
Souza
Peck
Hamer
COH
Campbell

Not saying that would be my line up but that's the one I think Wilder will go for....Clarke maybe for Seriki if he's fit.

100% agree, Robinson has looked very shaky recently, looks like he's about to drop a bollock at any moment. That said, he's put in some great last ditch tackles as well, although possibly due to his poor initial positioning. I would like to see Anel and Holding but I just can't see Wilder dropping JLT, same as I can't see him dropping COH either.

Sorry, don't want to be starting with 10 men....missed out BBD

What I would like to see....

------------------Cooper-------------------
Seriki----Holding----Anel-----Burrows
------------Souza-----Peck---------------
Brewster-------Hamer-------------BBD
-----------------Campbell-----------------

But I suspect JLT and O'Hare will start and obviously there are doubts over Souza.

I'm going to be optimistic and presume Souza is fit to start and that O'hare gets back to his high energy pressing ways for the big game.
Benching BBD simply because he got that much requested start on the left side v Bristol and didn't impress and I have reservations about his fitness. Strong player to have coming off the bench too.

I suspect it might be this apart from a shuffle of the three AMs:
BBD - O'Hare - Hamer
Though I would prefer to see BBD on the left.

I think there's a chance it will be

Cooper

Seriki Anel Holding Robbo Burrows

Peck Choudhury

O'Hare BBD

 Moore

Changes to counter the long ball to Smith and set pieces

God I hope that's not the case!

They've been starting Paterson instead of Smith recently, so hopefully big Keif won't be needed.

Why would anyone think he's a red card waiting to happen? He's been sent off once in his career, and never for us.

We all know he's got one big mistake a game in him and I can see them trying to induce that. He struggles against a quick attacker as we saw against Armstrong on Tuesday, but I don't think that lot have someone that quick?
