Is there any general weaknesses about the suggested line up?

Only with the people I have picked out. Ertl looks a bit cumbersome and hasnt played well for weeks, Calve is weak at defending, which is primarily his job, and Cresswell doesnt win any headers or hold the ball up very well.

I think I would be inclined to try Lowton somewhere. either in the midfield or at right back. I think I would go Boggy rather than Cresswell, even though he didn't play very well against Donny.

Without Ertl a complete lack of height and strength will be a general weakness.

Calve's defensive qualities can be a problem, but with two holding central midfielders who do not push forward very much and a formation that can be described as 4-5-1 on the defensive should hopefully give him some protection.

I picked Cresswell because he's a bit tougher than Bogdanovic, to complement the flair and creativity that we all of a sudden have the chance to use. With Coventry being a strong and aggressive side we must make sure they don't succeed in bullying us. Cresswell can also do a job at defensive set pieces.

I have not seen much in Bogdan, but thought Ertl made a decent centre back (far far better than nosworthy) and probably worth shuffling back there?

I'm going to echo what Fiery said but in a more conservative manner. Essentially he's right and I am of the opinion that an average group of players cannot be made into a good one by simply changing their roles / shape of the team. What we need is better players in key areas.....however.....to give us a fighting chance of taking anything from the next couple of games I would set my stall out like this:-

Simonsen
Lowton Morgan Bartley Taylor
Ward Britton Montgomery Yeates
Slew Cresswell​

I'm not a fan of Andy Taylor whatsoever and feel he is out of his depth at this level but with Stephen Jordan out he's our only natural left sided option in defence. I dont like playing right footers at left back as I think it upsets the balance of the side when in possession.

Ertl serves no purpose in midfield so Monty gets in. Ward and Yeates are the only competent players in wide positions and Slew is worth a shot IMO because no one else is producing the goods on the service we can provide them.

I think this is the best team for cov, would actually cry with happiness if we play 4-4-2. Cresswell needs to play upfront and playing him with slew would be a nice bit of pace and fight upfront joined with the experiance cressy would bring.

Then again in light of the Reid loan move wouldn't mine pusing ward upfront to start with cressy and reid
on the right, and then possibly giving slew a half depending on how things are going

Like you said im not sure about taylor, really dont think the lad is worth a place at the club. Not in anyway good enough, but again agree maybe best choice since jordan may be unfit. Lowton right back is a good shout because nos is awful

We're struggling for creativity while waiting for Willamson to be fit and Stephen Quinn hasn't made a huge difference either, so how about this experiment:

Simonsen
Calve Morgan Bartley Taylor
Ertl Britton
Ward - - - - - Bogdanovic - - - - - - Yeates
Cresswell​

This will mean we have width and a bit of pace on both sides, while maintaining height and strength. As Barnsley fans praised Bogdanovic for his creativity/football brain, it could be worth trying to see if he could do something in such a role, finding space between the opposition midfield and defence, playing in the wide men, and also getting beyond the main striker, which our midfield has struggled with all season.

If Coventry score first and we can't find space or attacking rythm, it'll be easy to go more direct and play 4-4-2.

Highlight of the season - a certain Harry Maguire driving the U18s to the youth cup final and making his senior debut.
