Team for Sunday?

We actually made back to back QFs under Wilder in 2019/20 and 2020/21! But COVID kicked in so neither were played in front of fans (Arsenal at home, Chelsea away - Wilder had left the week before the latter but been in charge the previous round).
Just looked up the sky match report for the Arsenal game as I remember being convinced we would've won it with fans in and the normal time of year.
Firstly forget that we were playing an FA Cup Quarter Final on the 28th June ffs (!)
Secondly this paragraph really hit a nerve:

"The Blades, though, have still to win since they returned to action three games ago and must now concentrate on trying to secure a place in Europe next season via their Premier League placing."

What a truly baffling time in so many ways

My preference is give first team a rest. Charlton next (winnable) then a shitshow of Southampton, Ipswich, Millwall and Boro. Those games will define our play off potential. If we lose 3 we may aswell have given the FA Cup a crack. So I'm still 50/50 on this wknds team 😂🙄

I remain convinced we would have beaten Arsenal in the QF if it had been played at the planned date. We were on a roll at the time, and I would’ve fancied us in the semi final against Chelsea or Man Utd (City not so much).

As a fan I would swap an FA cup final for a promotion, without a doubt. We get promoted all the time, but an FA cup final would be quite literally once in a lifetime experience for Blades.

Good chance that this could be off with the forecasted weather for Sunday?

It’s telling how many would start Hamer in the cup when a year ago he would probably be the first player you would save for the league
He needs to be in the shop window - We're borassic and his value is falling - sell baby sell

Arsenal were also a bit of a mess that season - they were behind us in the table when the league was paused, and only finished 2 points and one place above us after the full 38 games. And we'd taken 4 points off them already that season, pretty deservedly so. Think most Blades (justifiably) would've fancied us.

There ought to be a public enquiry into how we fell so far so fast.
