The personal abuse to Blackwell is unfair, and undeserved. I hold nothing against the man personally, I just don't think he's good enough to take us where we want to be. The same goes for some of the players that have been targetted.

In my eyes, the fans at these times are the most important people at the club. We need to show the players that we're behind them, no matter what. I'm not happy with the way we've played all season, but it hasn't stopped me getting behind the team throughout games.

I'll come on here and voice my concern and my discontent, but when I'm at the game I do nothing other than get behind the team.

Thank you for what might just be the most sensible post on the whole Blackwell subject.

I can't see the need for the whole condemnation of Blackwell the man. As a manager he has been found wanting this season, but having met him and spoken to him briefly he was a very nice person. That's not based on what a mate of a mate of a mate has told a cousin in the pub, it's what happened to me.

As a manager he isn't up to what we need, but that won't stop me supporting our team. If he does somehow manage to turn the situation around then good on him. I think that's highly unlikely, but you never know. And if he does go one way or another I hope the next bloke in can sort it out.
