If Sharp had played against Everton then I'd have bet my mortgage that he'd have put away Mousset's chance and the same for Robinson's chance yesterday. Billy is a natural finisher no matter the level. He might not have the pace anymore, but you don't need it if you've got good positional sense and time your runs well. I wouldn't have been confident that the other strikers would have put them away in the same situation. I'd be certain that Mcburnie would get them on target and I'm sure he just needs a goal in open play to boost his confidence.
One thing I really like about McBurnie is his desire to score. When he misses chances he looks angry as hell. Maybe he's piling too much pressure on himself and that's why he's not putting them away. As Jenas correctly showed on MOTD, he should've curled that first chance but struck it straight instead. So maybe this is a mental thing where determination is a hindrance to him and he'll take chances better if he's more relaxed. There's definitely a player in there and Wilder needs to find a way to bring it out, whether that be through changing his role or finding the right partner.
