I don’t think there’s been a single game where Lundstram hasn’t given a damn

I do think he’s been poor recently and I do think he’s stayed on the pitch at times when he should’ve been hooked. Fleck, Brewster, Bash, Burke and Norwood all seem to get hauled off when they’ve had a bad game.

But not Lundstram.... personally I think the graft he puts in has outweighed some of his sloppy losses of possession. Until today.

Zero pressure inside your own box. Norwood plays that ball and he’s guaranteed to be hauled off. Lundstram should’ve been straight off for that

Nice little jump and waving of arms when he had just given the ball away for Adams goal it was a 9.8 for me.
 
I’ve said it before, but if the opposition show him forward, he has no idea what to do.

His role in the 2nd goal was even worse. Bottled a challenge in the centre circle that started the move. Then the super lazy clearance and the arm raised appealing for something when he should have been closing down Adams. All of it, total shit.

As Roygbiv has said many a time, he had a 3 month purple patch along with Mousett in Autumn 2019. Apart from that he's been very average since he arrived. I'd love to see someone (and that means anyone) else get some minutes under their belt instead.
 
I've never been one to jump on the bandwagon(s) to get onto players' backs which we have witnessed from time to time over the years (OK... maybe I did give Paul Richardson some grief back in the day....!) but I was genuinely staggered by Lunsdstram today... the sloppiness that led to their 2nd goal and then (what appeared to me at least) a total and utter 'who cares' sort of (non)reaction when the ball flew into our net. I found it flabbergasting that anyone wearing a Blades shirt could show so much disregard..... Paul Richardson once gave our fans the rods when being subbed at BDTBL.... whether or not it was intentional, John Lundstram's actions in that 10 second passage of play left me with the same feeling. Can't help but think he's finished here.... just as Richrdson was....

Poor old Enda, I think his confident is shot. His touch has gone and if he can make the wrong choice, he makes it at the moment. I've not given up on him yet though, 3 good seasons versus lunny's 3 good months means he's still got some goodwill in the tank for me. Agree that his place should be in jeopardy though

Absolute disgrace to the shirt today. Neshing challenges, constantly passing backwards, that "shot", and then his part in the 2nd goal. If that's how he's going to be then fuck him off to train with the U18s and don't pick him again.

The fucker makes my blood boil but Wilder keeps playing him it shows the weaknesses in Wilder for fucks sake throw caution to the wind and play the young uns nowt to lose now

Can't we get in touch with his agent and swap him for Mark Duffy.

I want to believe that, and at times he has no doubt bust a lung and tried.

But i just dont believe he has constantly done it. More than any other player have i watched him lose the ball and look like he couldnt give less of a fuck about it.

Look at today, half arsed ball, half arsed challenge and then 0 block because hes waving his arms about.

His commitment to us is beyond question (he has none, he wants to leave).
 
I'd tell him to fuck off and train with the kids ................................................... at Tranmere rovers, they might offer him a deal if he does well.
 
Best we can hope for is that he gets sent off with a three match ban. But then again, he never commits to challengers so the threat of a red isn't an option. We're stuck with him I'm afraid as CW doesn't appear to want to drop him it seems.
 
If he starts the next game, I ain't watching it.

Wilder's management of this situation has absolutely stunk to high heaven.

He’s not that bad while ever we’re in the game, something I have noticed is that around 60 minutes he tends to switch off if we’re losing. I.e. Not closing down, tracking runners and playing lazy passes to opposition players. Not sure he fooling anyone anymore.
 
I have tried to avoid criticism of the players this year despite everything, but he really does deserve some stick.
I watch games and try to determine what he brings to the team. All other players have their faults but they can be balanced against positives. I am at pains to see any positives at all for him
I have a Yeovil supporting mate here in NZ who is a good footballer. He asked me last night, why does that Lundstram keep getting a game for you? he brings nothing. I had nothing to come back with and after today even less.
Stop playing him now and take the offer off the table.
