One should never apologise for pedantry on a forum.

Scarily detailed knowledge of the genre, though 😳
Ha ha! It's the only song of theirs that I know and can't tell you why it's stuck with me. I've also discovered just today that George Harrison played guitar on it, Carole King played piano and Mama Michelle Phillips and Ronnie Spector did backing vocals. That's not a bad list of supporters.

I can't work out what his best position should be, he doesn't seem to have any real attributes to his game. He's not skillful or quick to be a winger, his defensive work is awful for a midfielder. He's clearly not a striker or defender. I don't understand why we'd bring him on instead of Hamer especially if it's to play on the left.

On the ball I'd say fairly decent but as regards closing down he just hasn't got it in him. Overall Brooks is way better, but by the time he was hooked he was shattered, so Wilder had no choice.

A brilliant 3 points -first 60 was excellent well done Wilder.

Well said, the first 60 was great, it's hard to keep that going with the team when they are not getting any rest..

I'm not having a go, but FFS let them have a day or two off... we play on the 1st, give them a rest now they got the 3 tonight.

And yet he's likely to be the only United player to go to the World Cup in the summer. Life is funny sometimes.

The most vanilla player I've seen in a while. Doesn't seem to be good at anything remotely required to be a professional footballer.

Not quick, not strong, not athletic, can't shoot, can't cross, can't dribble. Ok touch but then what's the point when all you do with the ball when you get it is come inside (every time btw, an under 12's left back could work him out) or pass it backwards

I actually think theres a player in there (yeh contraversial I know)

Got thrown under the bus by all of us (me included) when he was part of the Selles debacle and then had 2 injuries whilst trying to impress a new manager (Wilder) and then inevitably lumped in with all the underperforming players signed by god knows who that seemingly have been a total waste of money)

But he has had a couple of decent cameos in recent games as he can open up defences and create chances for the strikers similar to Brooks and I believe he may be worth perservering with as we are light on creativity and potential goalscorers.

I know many dont rate him but he could just be a Wilder project type player ala Duffy, Clarke etc

He seems to be liked by Wilder as early doors he was calling him ā€œChongyā€ not sure if they go back or if he has just impressed in training but it’s working out his best position, I think if we get rid of Hamer that could open it up more for him.
