WOW!, really sad to read that 'jono_t200. Frenchie is as much a Legend of BDTBL as some of our players!.
I for one am genuinely sad/angry to read what he feels he has had to put out there in his farewell message!.
Whatever has happened to our (once upon-a-time, caring) 'Family Club'.

You would hope so. Are you on the SMC team? SUTV need to sort their sound out and sit the commentators in the stand and not in some remote Cornetto observation booth, miles away from the action.

No, I don't work for the club at all

Yeah the sound isn't great alot of the time, I believe the live broadcast stuff for games & the pre/post match shows is done by an external production company rather than in-house, but I'm not sure which company.

Obiviously an example of cost cutting. They've probably told poor old Kevin Cookson to edit videos now. The one below is out of focus, too dark, stuttering and flickering, the clipping is a mess, there's some red filter Kev's been unable to remove and the music is awful.

I was over the moon when I heard Terrence had bagged the media job with the blades he's not just a talented camera/media man he's a genuinely decent hardworking man. He will never understand what he ment to me and my friends when we was younger letting us use the RTD studios and advising us younger ones in life in general. Extremely poor form from the club if he's been pushed out for cost saving reasons

The slow motion and then fast forwarding is really rubbish and the match action isnt even on the correct timeline order.

The editing of that video is a huge drop off from previous Behind The Blades videos, hopefully they'll improve as the season goes on...

Appreciate different people have different editing styles that sometimes take time to get used to, but just don't think this edit really works well at all.

What has gone on with French because this has been going on for a few years now. I saw a fall out on Facebook a few years ago (not from him but folk who know him) proper slagging the club off. But nobody ever said as to why.

Obviously I don’t know what’s gone off, but I’m not sure gossiping about the whys and wherefores of someone leaving their job on a public forum is wise - he may want to go back for a reference at some point etc.

Yep, terrible, terrible editing. I have no idea what was meant by the slow-mo suddenly going to normal speed out of the blue. Thought it was my broadband playing up at first. More like a FIFA video game promo. No continuity, little or no build up, timeline out of order, as you said. Count me in the Bring Back T club!

I absolutely love the behind the blades coverage and more and more am appreciating the content Nick is producing on SUW, so it was great to see this today

There's been several comments over the last fews that our media team are producing some great official SUFC videos in a fresh, youthful/fashionable format.
Now we know the reason why?

I wasn't going to bother watching this Sheffieldunitedway video as it's a non player but glad I did, it was surprising interesting.
Also props go to Nick and Al, keep saying this but both are very high standard professional natural presenters.

Not entirely sure. But he was being used by United basically.

From watching the video it sounds like it was mutual. We were using him, he was using us.

The club were using him by probably not paying him much with little job security.
He was using us by having an opportunity to use his skills at a big company to help him learn and develop on the job
and build up a portfolio of work to encourage more and better opportunities down the line.

A really good listen. He's evidently a very talented guy, but also came across as very articulate and likeable too.

Content Creator at SUFC who has been here for years has announced he's leaving.

A lot people may not realise this but he had a massive impact on bridging the relationship between the fans and the club in recent times. He was part of the team that introduced the Behind the Blades episodes. A lot of the content you'll have seen on Youtube are from him.

He helped introduce subtitles/closed captions to the Youtube videos to help be more inclusive to the deaf and hard of hearing community.



Most of the work he has done has been behind the scenes but I would like him to get a farewell and a job well done from the Blades community.

Good luck T and thanks for the content!

I wish him well in his next venture and hope he really enjoys it.
It does however give the opportunity for someone else to enhance their career and maybe be as good as he is.
