Shaun Murphy as no.7 in his 1st season shall always stay with me.

He had a wretched start to his time with us, was garbage as a defender till Warnock game in and he went on a Coutts-esque transformation. I have to say that his poor performances were made worse by the constant annoyance of seeing a centre-back wearing number 7.

Thankfully he switched to 5 and he became one of my favourites of that period.
