I don't hate anyone and for you to infer that from my post says alot more about you than anything l can say and yes Philips was an idiot and just look at his own reaction to see that and for complete clarity lve done idiotic things in my life as well and suffered from it
Is that after he said "How's that a red" several times.

Ref was good today, but he got that wrong

Man of the match.

He might not score loads, he might not always do Beckham-style passes, but he's always there when it counts.

He's getting better each game, more mature, and he's got the fire in the belly like Chris Morgan had - i'll be gutted if we have to sell him this summer, hopefully getting to the playoffs will stop that.

Bit harsh calling Philips an idiot tbh after having watched it back.

Hes gone to kick the ball, caught their player with the follow through completely accidentally. Their player of course makes an absolute meal of it.

Very unfortunate red imo. He’s not lunged in dangerously or anything like that.
I thought he made sure he left the follow through on it when I saw it at the match, still feel the same watching the replay

The Wednesday player who confronted him at the end of the match as Sydie celebrated in front if players mates and family wants charging by the EFL
I love peck but he was celebrating in front of his family at the same time as giving them the brush off and down hands. I loved it

He's a lunatic but he is our lunatic! (Im referring to his celebrations at the end).

Agree best he has played in months and the same with Burrows.

It we get beat by Coventry that's on Phillips, we are going into with one midfielder now. (Blaster not ready, Soumare not top level Championship).
Got Rothwell and Jairo back

Noticed he was getting a lot of crap from there fans when taking the corner. Good on him if he gave it back

What a bloke. Not only does he absolutely love the emotional, childish side do the game he’s a really capable game manager. Hopefully he sticks around

I've just seen it back on a screen and it's one of those that gets a red today but calling Phillips is laughable.

I don’t think he comes across the type to deliberately leave one in on someone.

Especially in a game where we’re 2-0 and pretty much home and dry at that point.

To me it looked like a player whose barely played football for a couple of years making a bit of a lazy clearance.

I can see why the ref sent him off for it, as he caught the Wednesday lad high. He immediately apologised for it as he knew he’d caught him.

I used the word unfortunate rather than harsh because he did catch him, clear as day but I don’t think he did it with any kind of malicious intent. So therefore I don’t think calling him an idiot is justified.

I thought it was unnecessary because you have to be completely out of control for that to happen, or you were intentionally trying to 'let him know you're there' as payback for his tackles 1st half, especially the one on O'Hare that live, looked as bad as Phillips one.

I think it was intentional to go in with excessive force, but not to end up hitting him that high. It was daft, but unlucky.

He’s trying to kick a ball over the half way line of a football pitch. There’s going to be some back lift and some follow through.

Anyway, it’s done no point in debating it any further.

But what if I want to????

😂😂 Fair dos, enjoy the evening ⚔️

Totally agree. Was Ingelsson - pig number 8. He was at it all match and then went down like a sack of spuds rolling around after the Phillips foul. Inglesson clearly didn’t like Sydie celebrating our win in front of our fans. What an first class pr***
