Who's going? Long old journey on a Tuesday night. About two and a half from Leicester area for me.

I haven't renewed my membership this season so chancing general sale for away games. As far as I'm aware we aren't sold out yet are we?

With our tight defense, against a team very good at getting results at home, how do we think we'll get on? Think this could be a big threat to our unbeaten run, but then again, could be a pleasant surprise and I'd happily take another 1-0 win :D

Could be interesting on the sidelines. In Di Canio's autobiography he's less than complimentary about Wilson from when he played under him at the oinkers.

Short journey from London, so me and a few London Blades will be there. Have a mate who lives in Swindon (a neutral) that is going, so will get info on where to park and which boozer(s) to go to. Shame this is not on a Saturday, but looking forward to it none the less.

I fancied Swindon at the start of the season and think they'll definately get a play off place. However they have lost 4 times already. They clearly have a bit of flair, but are a bit inconsistent. Orient and Colchester have both won at the County ground, so why can't we do the same? We should not fear Swindon (though we should not under estimte themm either). SUFC are joint top and unbeaten and Swindon will not be looking forward to playing us. I'd definately take a 1-0 win mind.

I'd like to go, but you're probably looking at a £75 spend so can't justify it, especially if we've got to fund Ollessendro babychams on the brentford game. :)

Decent trip for me too this one, so it's an afternoon away from work, straight along the M4 past Reading and am hoping to be there in good time. I'm with Olle on this one regarding the result. We're playing a lot better away from home and therefore, if we don't show Swindon too much respect, I think we have a great chance of winning.

On the ale, im reliably informed that The Steam Railway, The Roaring Donkey (!), The Goddard Arms, The Wheatsheaf and the aforementioned Beehive are all worth a look. Chin chin.

Went to Swindon in December 1989. we won 2-0 with goals by Duffield (saw him last night in the South Stand. he isnt built like or looks like an ex-professional footballer) and Morris. Duffield had broken his leg in the collision with the keeper and Jon Gittens when applying his touch for the goal. before the game i persuaded my dad to drive to Uffington to see the White Horse. After seeing the White Horse my dad moaned "Is that it??"

You can have a lift over if you want? You would need to get down to Tooting Bec for 5pm-ish though. Will not cost must, just a bit for petrol, as there are a few of us in the car.

It's my birthday but we've decided not to go, would be too expensive for both of us. So I'll either have a crap day 'cos we lost, or crap 'cos we won & I missed it!!

Memory from going last time? "Ooohhh aaahhhh it's ambrosia"!!!!

I'm going to give it a miss, but cheers for the offer.

For those looking for a decent curry house in Swindon town centre - go to the 'Jewel in the Crown' - one of the best I've been to in the south of England...... great food, decent prices and it's always been busy regardless of the day of the week.

FAO London Blades/any Blades arounf London

on the off chance there are any London Blades or any Blades that will be in the are next week, I will be driving over and there are a couple of places in the car. I will be setting off from Tooting Bec and heading straight for the M4. This means I could pick up anyone along the way (Putney, Hammersmith, Chiswick etc). I plan to set off at 5pm. I will be returning straight after the macth and can drop people off anywhere along that route. There are 3 of us in the car already, so sharing costs will not be much.

I'm intending to leave work around dinner time if you fancy picking me up from Sheffield to save me driving Olle?
