I obtained the following from a Sheffield United news gathering website…

It seems that Swansea offer a free digital version of matchday programmes, which I’m sure will obviously divide opinion on here. I used to be an avid collector of programmes and must have a dozen shoeboxes full of the things in the loft. Starting from the 80’s right through to the noughties, I have full and partial seasons…as well as a couple of boxes of the flashing blade.

These days I buy the odd ones for bigger fixtures and occasions, but I rarely go out of my way to purchase one for a normal fixture.

For this reason, I kind of like the idea of a free digital version to browse before games. Would I like to see it replace the traditional matchday programme however?? Most definitely not….we don’t rely on programmes as much for breaking news, as most is readily available on the internet. But never the less, it’s also a collectors thing isn’t it.

A few errors in there...

2 stints, not 3
Norwood is N.Irish
Iliman is Senegalese.

And that was just scanning over it

I've not bothered with a programme in years. Last one I got, was the final game of the L1 campaign vs Chesterfield as it was a "special" which they charged a fiver for.

I would be willing to pay for a digital version if it ran concurrently with a physical edition. I love physical match programmes but the space they require is difficult for me. I'm a reader not a collector so a means of reading them is all I require tbh. I'd subscribe if the prices was adjusted to, say, £1-2 for the digital version of the program. I'm baffled when people pay top whack for digital versions of films and video games. It's a complete rip off. I wouldn't pay paper prices for an online programme as I'd deem it a similar rip off. I'm completely against discontinuing physical editions and believe in should be a requirement of the league that they are still produced.

First programme ive seen since my lad used to get them 30 years ago, think ive done well to save all that money if thats what there like

I've read it and think it's great particularly the bit that referred to Norwood as Northern Irish and ndiaye as

I've read it thought it was a fab idea , bit I saw noted Norwood as Northern Irish and ndiaye as french born senagalese which is correct as I understand

I’d be pro digital programme if it came free with your home fixture sutv stream, nice gesture when you cant reach bdtbl

I always buy a programme as I always have, it’s part of my match day experience ! I think this is a great idea for people who can’t get to games or don’t go as it increases fan/club interaction . I doubt it would stop many people who buy one from buying one . I think anything that allows fans to feel like they are engaged in what’s going on is a positive and could possibly increase the rapport between fan and club ! If you don’t like it don’t read it online simple , but like I said , for people who can’t get its great ‘
As ever UTB !

Yep just had a read ,Julian Winter he played for us under Bassett ,same one looks like him but no mention him playing for us Oliver Norwood says he's from England but his Northern Irish 😀 and also see Kyle Naughton is still there and in the team tonight, got to say I thought he was a good player
