I quite like how shit SUTV is, for some weird perverse reason. Asaba seems like a really lovely fella but he’s absolutely useless as well! The bias on it is comical.

It just seems like a proper budget/cowboy job but I like it in comparison to the pristine, well oiled machine of sky (only when we are involved, I’d hate it normally)

I’m watching the Huddersfield Ifollow on IPTV with radio Leeds commentary and it’s the best commentary that I’ve listened to.

Not sure who the commentator is but he’s extremely well informed on United, funny, eloquent and creative with his descriptions of the game

Credit to him for picking up on “mind the gap Sheffield Wednesday” from the blades fans

I think what Gage was saying is that despite his lack of height, Egan still wins plenty of headers ie he isn’t 6’4”, although I agree it’s really difficult to tell, he’s a terrible commentator.

SUTV could actually be really good but the analysis is fucking shit. You’d actually be better off inviting some of the you tube/podcaster lads on. They’re not boring as fuck and all talk a far better game than Gage ever has.

and they love how he's like a fan with his positivity and how they always play well and when they lose,

however overall think SUTV is fantastic, very professional and it's great to have ex players give their viewpoints.

I dont think we can have sutv live games anymore- EPL tv rights are very different to football league. I dont know of any clubs in the prem who can show their games live. Each worldwide territory has its own broadcasting agreement with EPL i think. We can only show pre and post match stuff.

For me the SUTV issue isn’t just Gage. Asaba is too much of a cheer leader and the woman (sorry don’t know her name) they have on is just boring. Duffy is quite good. But the worst thing, in comparison to the likes of the Huddersfield commentator is that our main commentator just isn’t very good either.

I generally like the Sky comms and the EFL team are decent, but again I don’t know their names

our main commentator just isn’t very good either.

On that one issue I have to politely disagree. I think Matt Young does a really good job. Because he’s commentating to the same audience each week he doesn’t get lost in all the tired tropes that get rolled out about us. I find him clear and knowledgeable. And he’s commentating off the telly home and away. Respect for that.
