Had to turn the sound down. Kevin Gage does my head in.
Kevin Gage is an awful commentator. Everything is over stressed. Brilliant, excellent etc when at best it is just good.
It is obvious he is on SU payroll. A commentator who described it correctly would be much better. Also his voice is dirge like. Who needs sleeping tablets, just listened to Gage and you will nod off easily.

Like I say, he commentates like he's doing it in the front room with his mam and dad watching the telly, so he has to keep his voice down.

Be nice also if we actually did have someone who could give some background and facts, figures and amplification to the game and who is playing. Adam on TSUW gets my vote. With Hal as lead commentator as be does professional broadcast work anyway and has the pedigree. It's all about how you deliver this stuff. It's why people like Martin Tyler has been so successful for so many years. Watch a game when he is the anchor man and he brings you into it, even if you don't give a fuck about either team.

Quite agree and the sound is awful too much bass in the audio and when there is a drum/band it sounds awful.

Should be alternate commentary you can use, bit of Sheffield United Way would do.
How would you get the alternative commentary 2 or 3 minutes behind though ?

I had the radio stream on through SUTV yesterday whilst driving back from the Alps.
It literally froze every 30 seconds or so despite having a good signal.
Gave up in the end and streamed 6 music without any issue.
Sort it out Blades!

Last season Japan was one of the Unsold Territory countries and ProtonVPN had Japanies servers in free version, but noticed yesterday that UT country list had updated and Japan is goner.

Have had audio subscription for many years but not renewing this time. Many clubs are now broadcasting or allowing access to BBC local radio commentaries for free, so I’m not going to support this practice any longer. I pay a licence fee already, and as far as I’m concerned asking for money to listen to a football match is too greedy. United should sort themselves out on this one.

Has anyone had the £4.50 a month audio pass before?

Two questions please...

1) It almost implies it'll be a monthly contract that I can't cancel - but surely I can cancel after one month?
EDIT: Can easily cancel the automatic renewal.

2) Can I watch match replays from the whole season, or just matches after I've paid the £4.50?
EDIT: Can watch previous match replays.

EDIT: No further questions.

Make sure you do cancel or it automatically renews.
It's a little annoying that basically you're paying to listen to Radio Sheffield!

I’ve been paying it for years as I’m outside the area so can’t listen to Radio Sheffield. It does feel wrong that I’m paying extra to listen to something that my licence fee has already paid for once.

It hasn’t though. The BBC will have paid for the local coverage that would I assume cost more if they extended it.
