According to the press, Manchester United are making 6 changes and fielding a weakened team against us not that they have a weakened team really but regardless it doesn't have all of the big hitters in it. They have also opted for a player who couldn't hit a donkeys arse with a banjo in Wayne Rooney.

Manchester United starting lineup: Romero; Varela, Smalling, Blind, Borthwick-Jackson; Carrick, Schneiderlin; Pereira, Herrera, Lingard; Rooney

As for us, apparently we are going for Sharp and The Fish up front which if true indicates that Done hasn't quite made fitness for the game, fingers crossed he is at least on the bench. Coutts in supposedly playing so at least we have a play maker in there however Woolford on the wing? Seriously? What's wrong with Ryan Flynn these days anyway? Man United wouldn't be able to handle the young Jock.

Sheffield United starting lineup: Long; Brayford, Edgar, Collins, McEveley; Coutts, Basham, Hammond, Woolford; Sammon, Sharp

I do like flynn, but for me Woolford has improved enough to warrent his place in the team, he's still not great but he's better than he was.

Rooney goes off the boil anyway when he doesn't get things his own way and as stupid as it sounds talking proper tactics against a supposed world class player like him, I would just tell Collins or Edgar to stick to him like a glove with the help of Basham and he won't feature.

Bit worried about Coutts playing 2 games in 4 days but his recent performances have earned him the right to play at Old Trafford.

Might be a weakened team but it's nothing like the weakened team Arsenal stuck out against the pigs the other month.

Not much pace in that man united starting 11, I'm starting to fancy us to get a replay.

I worry about playing Long. He's shown in the past that he can be a bit mentally weak, and a hiding/howler in front of tv cameras might do to his confidence what the Gillingham game did at the start of the season

The press know sod all, they are just printing the same starting 11 as our last match. Adkins won't be daft enough to go with a team that slow at OT......

He can't be wrapped in cotton wool. If he wants to be our number 1 keeper this is precisely the type of game we want to see him do well in it. If he has a confidence-ruining experience, that would be a clear indication he's still not ready.

As it stands, he's recovered from that Gillingham experience and is doing well of late. He's in on merit.

Is there a source for these teams?

They only need to be submitted 30' before kick off don't they?

Isn't anything else just speculation, imagination, hallucination?

It's clearly a cunning ploy to upset Van Gall's pre match preparations. He'll be changing his tactics as we speak to counter the dynamic Basham-Hammond midfield combo and installing an extra full back to stop Woolford, our free flowing left winger.

I worry about playing J-Mac at left back. He's a ticking time bomb at the best of times but he'll be a red card risk today.

If that's the Manchester United lineup then I would be delighted!
