Sheffield United supporters club are to hold an EGM on Thursday 19th September. The meeting to be held in the club boardroom, commencing promptly at 19.30. All affiliated branches must attend or arrange for a representative to be present.

Anyone ITK as to why?

Ticketing?
Merch?
Ownership?
Or dissatisfaction at Izal bog roll in shithouses?

Ticketing is the obvious one although if we get 30,000 again on Saturday, which is likely, it seems a little OTT.
Alternately maybe they’re looking to be a better position of influence for once the court case has finished and we’re sold on?

Take over!

All profits to PL

Who’s called it club or a branch?

When I was chair of HQ branch club never wanted owt to do with us, it was run by supporters for supporters.

Wouldn’t have thought it was called by a branch if it’s being held in the board room.

I've reproduced the statement put out on Handsworth supporters club Facebook page.
Don't know if they've arranged it or not.

Loyalty Points & Away Tickets hopefully.

I find it hard to believe that many 17/18 year old fans could have accumulated 45000+ pts in order to get access to tickets. Seemed hell of a lot at Bournemouth.
Does anyone know how many away tickets are allocated to the owners of corporate boxes at the lane?, and why should they get tickets (if they do) for away games. They hire the box for home games only.

I do have a sensible and fairly simple solution for the loyalty points situation if anyone attending would like me to DM them.

I would hazard that this is likely to concern internal politics rather than a wider supporter issue.

I know they've been asked to submit independently audited accounts if they wish to continue to be an official, affiliated supporters' club.

You can make your own implications as to why...

A season ticket since inception gives you around 35k points. So 100 away games at 100 points over that period gives you 45k in total.

Nothing to do with accounts . They have been submitted to the club and all is in order. .. I'm sure you will find out with your itk contact's!

It’s really not that hard, at that age you should have had at the very least 10 season tickets meaning >30k points before you even start counting away games
