I streamed the Norwich match. I thought we were great. I'm sure everyone says this about their time but when the atmosphere is intense and electric in a firey match, there's just no place to me like the Lane.

Been to many away match in my time and experienced some tense affairs but it never quite had the same feeling. There's a reason a lot of people from other clubs like coming to the Lane.

If they’re not 4-0 up after 20 mins against the bottom of the league they can F off …

I have standards and expectations

Hi Stegosaurus here,

Is the support crucial? I'm sure the team can play just as well without a few hundred fat bald men in the kop calling them shit when they miss from 6 yards.

I expect they would perform to the same standard if there's 20,000 there or 2,000

There's nothing wrong with fat bald men

Support wise it felt like a mid October sort of game where we hope to climb above Coventry into 6th place

Covid proved you're talking shit

if we had been able to bring another striker such as archer in this january we would have been up by now reverse of that is that if we hadnt had illiman we wouldnt be in the top 6 we should have won that game 5 - 0 today

I can 100% say that backing off the sidelines makes a difference.....school sports day many many years ago I drew the short straw and ended up doing the 1500, I'd be 12 or 13. The year before I'd run it and come a distant last...no other sap would do it.
This time, coming off the last bend my mate Ollie was about 10 yards in front of me, he was a cross country runner and stick thin, I was a bit more portly back then....anyway, ten yards or so to make up, few people left as it was the last event of the day and my house captains, both upper 6th formers, so 17/18 literally roared me on in the back straight, running parallel with me, encouraging me all the way. It really made a difference to me, I was determined it wouldn't be for nothing. Safe to say I dug deep, found some determination I never knew I had, driven not to let them down.
I passed Ollie, with apparent ease who looked shocked to see me go past him, and beat him to the line finishing .......this time.....2nd last.
So, multiply that by 25-30,000 and yes, it does make a bloody big difference.

Hi Stegosaurus here,

False

Other teams managed to do well without fans in the arena. Teams with louder and better support like us.

We'd have gone down with or without fans in the ground because Wilder was too stubborn to change his tactics even though they had been found out.

Your mate was Ollie Norwood don't lie.... I'm just shocked it took you so long to go past him.
