Blades,

Its gonna be 25 degrees down here tomorrow and they've still not put a roof on the away end at Gillingham.

Usually we freeze, tomorrow we burn, unless you're sensible and pack the factor 30, sun glasses and sun hats.

Be warned Blades be warned..

UTB
Oh just half the temperature of Cyprus then this week!

not going but i think its ridiculous to put sun cream on when your in Britain not once have i been outside in the summer and burned

Lucky you. As someone of presumed Viking ancestry I burnt to a crisp in Yeovil the other year.

As a general word of warning: I have a family member who, despite never having really being in the sun, has sun damage and was told by a doctor to stay out of the sun and warn her family to do the same.

See Bowen's disease: http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/bowens-disease/Pages/Introduction.aspx

I'm covered in factor 30. I'd rather be "ridiculous" than "cancerous".

Quite right, it's as easy to suffer sun burn in the UK as it is in any other part of the world. To ignore this fact is to invite pain and distress. Do so at your risk.

As a Ginner and the Father of 2 Ginners I am happy to "ridiculously" protect mine and my childrens skin in Britain in the summer with the use of sun cream.

It was the highest temperature ever recorded in Cyprus (some car thermometers were showing the outside temperature at 63c). Humidity was 89% - it truly was fooking hot.

Only one football shirt seen in Dubrovnik today. In fact Mrs I.am, rather unkindly, commented that I looked a little chavvy. A surprisingly uncharitable comment which I put down to her ascending 442 steps to our apartment carrying 2 heavy shopping bags in 30+ degrees.
