Wouldn't have Magahey on the list or Kieran Wallace as they are young players who deserve at least another year or so to develop.

Collins is a dead man walking under Clough so may as well go. Alcock and Higdon are terrible footballers who I would drive to the railway station myself.

James Wallace is sadly never going to be fit on a regular basis and we can't aford to carry passengers so I would pay him up. Ben Davies is a Clough favourite so can't see him going, I wouldn't make Holt permanent on what I have seen so far and JCR is half out the door already.

Long and Macfadzean do not seem to have progressed, (Long got dropped by Oxford so I think I agree with the OP's assessment there.)

Doyle has had a decent season but age wise needs replacing, I wouldn't let him go until we are sure we have the replacement though.

Likewise I'd give Magahey and K Wallace more time also I'd see how J Wallace was after a full pre season but yeah the rest like the OP I'd get rid and there would be large question marks on Howard, Scougall, Flynn, and McEveley who all seem very inconsistent this season. In fact the whole team at times look like they are playing full of fear which in itself brings on mistakes in defence and an unwillingness to take those gambles when attacking.

I wouldn't keep Collins next season but i can't for the life of me think why he hasn't had a run of games this season after some of the performances iv'e seen. He can score goals, come out with the ball from defence, and i'm pretty sure we wouldn't be any lower in the league if he'd have played, i'm also pretty sure he'd have contributed to us being higher up the league this season. Him and either Kennedy or Basham, or dare i say it Butler would have developed a good partnership. People go on pre season too much and just because they looked shite in a pre season game doesn't mean they can't develop a partnership, it all takes time. Collins is no worse at CB than what we have now and i really feel for the guy that always gave 110% for us.

I believe so ..... won't be missed on his return north .....
