Thought Norwood played quite well, got his fitness much improved and played some decent balls to very static strikers.

Fleck was totally invisible, after about 50/60 minutes I thought is he actually on the pitch or has he accidentally locked himself in the bogs.

Pleased that I am not the only one who thinks McG was to blame. The scorer went past him and McG never moved at all leaving a short defender to deal with an incoming perfectly timed run.

I don’t even think some of these player have the talent for a system change. We simply have too many “one footed” players in the team to have any sort of fluidity, when playing out from the back. All the back four seem so uncomfortable when receiving the ball on their wrong foot. None of them seem to have the required intelligence and skill to initiate play from the back line. They are simply defenders, nothing more, nothing less. Unfortunately their ponderous style allied with so many unnecessary passes, will have strikers up and down the division, rubbing their hand with anticipation.

In what way did Mousset do well?!

He lost the ball numerous times with a poor touch, didn’t press defenders and conserved his energy by only running for balls that he was 100% nailed on to get. He was shit.

You missed Fleck off the list. He's shadow of his former self. Not sure we can wait much longer to find out what's wrong with him, but he's hiding, that's for sure.

Tbh it’s alarming how many have dropped away… usually you expect 2/3 over the course of a couple of seasons but if we are being brutally honest only Rammers, Egan, Bogle, Basham can actually say they showed any form… Berge gets a pass because of injury … everyone else meh!

You have to ask why was Osborn on his own in the midle of the pen
because Robinson had moved to the right because Egan was practically on the right touchline and the midfielder [McGoldrick? ] should have dropped deeper, it was more about oganisation than personal error!

The guy was taller and on the run Osborn was also having to think about their no9 who was goal side of Robinson. If Ashley Cole had been playing L/B in that situ, he still would not have prevented the header

He probably would have. He’d have been positioned properly and challenged for the ball properly which would have made the header much more difficult. The right back would have still won it but he wouldn’t have got a clean header in the way that he did and it would probably have been saveable. That goal was on Osborn. That’s not why we lost though, we lost because we were absolutely shit and posed no threat up front whatsoever. We had plenty of time to claw back that deficit. Hopefully it’s down to lack of preparation and Slav will sort it out, and lack of new faces, which hopefully PA will sort out. It’s going to be a long season otherwise.

Watched Swansea at Blackburn on Saturday and they were awful but won 3-0 away last night and looked s different team
Think most teams are not in their stride yet.
But it's obvious we need some energy a few new players would bring
Plus some here look like they need a new challenge to rekindle what talent they had
Norwood is the best example of that .
He's won 3 promotions but with 3 different clubs. Some players need that new challenge. Norwood definitely does
